Yesterday we finally got the deck painted.
Arvid had put in the order almost a month ago,
but because of the rain it was not looking good.
Finally a few days with sunshine, and it was
time to get the job done. Happy day for us.
Sniff kept a keen eye on the man doing the job.
Just making sure it’s done right. That’s our Sniff, on
the ball and always looking out for our best interest.
Sniff watched the guy paint from start to finish.
When I looked out to see how the painting job was
coming along; I saw another bird. Much bigger than
the ones that come for food. This bird was pulling feathers.
Yes, I think he killed another bird and was plucking him to eat.
At first I thought it was squirrel because I saw a fluffy tail
in the picture. Either way it was sad because I don’t
like seeing animals hurt. I know. Survival of the
fittest. It was a falcon eating another bird.
A few things to do today, and no cooking either.
Overall a pretty easy going relaxing kind of day.
To all a good day. Never forget, obstacles can't stop
you. Problems can't stop you. Most of all, other
people can't stop you. Only you can stop you.
Each morning brings new potential
but only if you make the most of it...
