Sunday October 7th~

Sometimes little acts of self-care and
 self-understanding make all the difference...

In October we wear pink πŸ’ž During Breast Cancer Awareness
Month in October and throughout the year—people wear pink ribbons
to honor survivors, remember those lost to the disease, and to support
the progress we are making together to defeat breast cancer.

Be informed, self examine your breasts for abnormalities and
get screened at any nearby clinic.  #getchecked.  On another note,
Arvid and I had our first outing downtown.  It sure did  not disappoint.

There was a live band, the evening was beautiful and of course
we could not miss out on our slice of pizza before walking back home.
And yes, "sex on the city" my favorite drink in one of our hangouts
was as good as always.  It was just a beautiful outing.

A good day to all.  Sniff, Arvid and I woke up a little late today.
Sniff was not too happy to get out of bed...but we did so he
did as well.  He's now napping close to me.  Rough day.

Hopefully today we will head to Fort Myers Beach and check
out the changes that took place since Hurricane Ian hit last year.

Habits develop into character. Be happy with who you are...

Saturday October 15th ~ πŸ’ž

Be willing to be a beginner every single morning...

Once Fort Myers has been built back up after the
aftermath of Hurricane Ian it will be more beautiful that
before, but one thing for sure, Ian could not erase
the beauty of its sunset and that of its sunrise.

As a new day begins, the curfew has been lifted.
Curfew was from 9pm to 6am.  Businesses that are
open can now enjoy regular hours.  People affected by
the hurricane are also enjoying the benefits of no curfew.
What we take for granted, someone else is praying for.

Our Saturday happy hour spot has been damaged by Ian.
Being right on the water has its advantages (views), at the
same time disadvantages, as in when a hurricane hits.
Being easy going, we have also discovered new places.

A few soccer matches on today.  Someone is excited to say
the least.  Our desks have been delivered.  Will be nice to sit
and have the laptops on a desk rather than on our laps, but in
the big picture, just minor stuff not even worth mentioning.

Sniff has no care in the world, as it should be πŸ˜‚
All he worries about is how many times he will be brushed
and getting foodies regularly.  Soft foodies.  He's my happy place
and I can't envision our life without him.  He's mummy's baby.

Make your heart the most beautiful thing about you...
