Sunday ~ September 5th

 Make each day your masterpiece...

I want to be like Sniff.  No matter what the day
holds, he always finds it in him to be relaxed and go with
the flow.  Hmm.. to be Sniff and to have no worries
in the world.  I would not mind that right now.

Sunday.  A day to relax and to let the mind
clear from all worries.  I can always try.

Life doesn’t require that we be the
best, only that we try our best...

New Week- Monday April 12th

  Opportunities hide in unexpected
places, you only need to look closely.
Have a great week ahead...

As the new week begins I wonder what new
and exciting prospects it may hold.  Today we
go venturing out into the San Juan area for
Sniff’s foodies and for Arvids bread 😻

The PetSmart we have in our area has a limited
selection of the food Sniff likes, and there
is no “Whole Foods” store in the area.

When we came to PR we brought with us
6 loaves of bread from Florida but it’s soon done.
Arvid is not happy.  He love's his bread and the one's
in the "regular" grocery stores just don't do it
for him.  Not here not in Florida either.

Yesterday we had a great time with my sister
and Kimsy. Unfortunately J was not able to make it.
Puerto Rico is back to everything being all open.

The place was packed and there was life all around us
it was very good to see people having a good time again.
The cops were in the background reminding everyone
should they forget to keep their distances and to maintain
their masks in place.  Different times that’s for sure.

We had dinner at our favorite spot where the
view is the centerpiece of the entire dining experience.
Food and drinks of course were good, but the view...

Have already done my walk for today, fed the
kitties and now to enjoy a little quiet time with
Sniff before Arvid wakes us, and life gets hectic.
Good morning and happy new week to all.

No one dares stand in the way of a moving train.
This week, you will be unstoppable. Have a great week ahead.
Three things you shouldn’t lose this week; your faith, your
courage, and your smile. Happy new week

Tuesday January 26th ~

Go confidently in the direction of your
dreams, live the life you have imagined...

I started my morning with a little indoor walk
around the parking lot.  Later this afternoon Arvid
and I will hopefully go for a longer walk.  It's
been our routine since we got back home.

Truth be told though, I have not been as consistent
as I was in PR.  In PR my inspiration was the kitties.
I do miss those mornings.  Looking forward to
them in the near future.  Hopefully soon.

Yesterday I spent one hour on gold waiting to speak to
someone at the doctors office in order to get an appointment.
After a little over an hour the call was disconnected.  Try as I
may, no one picked up.  Today is another day and another
chance to hopefully get someone on the line.

Nothing is that easy during COVID times anymore.
I finally managed to get hold of someone. One of her questions
was, "do you have any prosthetics on you right now?"
My answer was, "fortunately not right now."

Not exactly sure why the question, but who
knows these days.  She also asked me if I was currently
over 300lbs.  The questions kept coming and after a while we
were laughing together.  I made a phone friend.

Soon time to use the hot tub and pool again.

Today only happens once.  Make it amazing...

November 1st ~ A New Month Begins

Whatever the new month is bringing for you,
be it good or bad; always keep that smile
on your face no matter what...

November, here’s to a month of possibilities,
overcoming challenges and all-round success.  We have
all been living through some very unusual times.  Here
is hoping that life soon goes back to a semblance of
"normal"  Today I am not sure what "normal" is
anymore.  We are all living the "new normal"

The above was November 2015.  I was giving Brutus
his medicines.  How was I supposed to know that he only
had days left to live.  I miss him so very much. Soon it will
be five years without our Brutus.  I'm not over it.

But as November begins, we all look forward to
better times ahead.  We look forward to the day we
will see our families again, and to the day the world is a
better place for all.  November, please be kind to us,
for everyone needs a little pick me up right now.

Last night Arvid looked at me and said, "I don't miss
Florida one bit.  I have not even thought about it.  Isn't that
strange?"  I said to him exactly the same thing.  I do not
miss it one bit, and that's weird.  He said this is the
first time I am not wanting to go home.

No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today,
life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow...

Monday October 5th ~

Life’s true gift lies in your freedom to design it beautifully.
With each rise of the sun, you get to chase the opportunity to fill
your days with meaning—to live your life the way you choose...

Monday begins nice and bright.  So far no rain, but
if the predictions are correct, we will be seeing more
of it fairly soon and during the rest of the week.

Arvid and I had very nice day yesterday.  I am NOT
amazed that everywhere we g the food is absolutely
delicious.  Arvid is still playing catch up.

Had my morning walk already.  Bright an early
before the rain shows up or before the sun is to hot.
We live on an island, but I still don't like the heat much.

Sniff is good.  Still not 100%, but he is happy
as long as we are with him.  I am happy also because
he is with us.  Had Sniff not been with us in Puerto Rico,
I would never stay this long.  Sniff makes me happy.

Good morning all and may this new
week be one of better things coming.

All of life is peak and valleys.  Don't let
the peaks get too high and the valleys too low...
