Somedays I Just Sit and Remember ~

 Most of the important things in the world have been 

accomplished by people who have kept on trying

 when there seemed to be no hope at all...

These two little ones have been on my mind lately.
Little Shadow.  We had him for such a short time, but 

boy was he a feisty one. His life was cut short due to

negligence from someone I trusted his care with.

Our Brutus.  Never far from our thoughts

 and always in our hearts.  The day he came into

our lives our world changed.  Arvid changed. Brutus

made us better people, he will forever be my baby.

My Brutus took a part of me that can never be replaced.
Enter Sniff  Sniff into our lives, and boy what a delight he is.  

Sniff is now my baby also even though I do not tell it to

 him as often as I did to Brutus.  I love my Sniff Sniff and 

cannot visualize life without him.  He makes me happy.

To be tested is good. The challenged life may be the best therapist...

Thursday January 21st ~

 A place where you can see a good view is
 also a place where you can sit and dream...

It's very quiet out on the waterways today. 
 Very peaceful and relaxing.

Since coming back to Florida, I wake up at nights and

 think of Puerto Rico.  I think of my sister, Kimsy, J, the kitties 

and the blue waters.  I miss sitting out on our balcony. 

 It's the most I have ever sat on any balcony.

I really try not to worry about the kitties, but I can't

 help it.  Trying to stay busy, but there is always time for

 my thoughts to wander towards them.  I have no idea

 if they will be around when we go back next.

Life is of course good here at home, but right

 now I feel disconnected with this lifestyle.  I know it's 

temporary, but still I did grow attached to the kitties.  I

 think of Kimsy and I smile.  She asked me, "when are

 you and uncle Arvid coming back?"  Soon I hope😊.

I do some morning walks in the parking garage, and in

 the afternoons Arvid and I go out together.  Love it.  After 

all, it's home. As they say, there's no place like home.

 Hello new day.  Warming up nicely I might add.

  America welcomes it's new 46th President amid a  cascade

 of crises, and first time ever female Vice President.  

Progress is impossible without change, and those who

 cannot change their minds cannot change anything...

Hellos From Mexico ~

Those that say you can't take it with you 

never saw a car packed for a vacation trip.... 

It has been quite a while since we went on a vacation. 

 Here in Mexico we definitely relax.

The last time we were here was in 2016.  We had an absolutely

 relaxing and good time.  For Arvid this is his best vacation.

Here he does not have to bother with phones.  

Says he does not have to call anyone, nor does not have

 to take any calls for anyone.  You see he does not even 

carry his phone.  This is vacation is how he puts it.

Our condo overlooks a Marina.  Perfect for Arvid because 

he loves to sit and watch the boats go by.  He also enjoys listening

 to his blues station on Sirius FM.  For him this is relaxation.

It's time to just get away from it all and have a little relaxation time.

Good for the soul, good for the body and good for the mind.

Vacation used to be a luxury, but in today's 

world it has become a necessity...

Your calm mind is your ultimate weapon 

against your challenges.  So relax....

Sunday.  Plans for the day: spend it with Sniff and do absolutely nothing.

  No running around.  No stress.  No anxieties.  Just peaceful

 and quiet.  I'm happy and relaxed already.  

Sunday.  A day to refuel your soul and be grateful for you blessings.

It's all about quality of life and finding a

 happy balance between work, friends and family...
