Hello Thursday ~

If the only prayer you ever say in your 
entire life is thank you, it will be enough...

We woke up to this.  For a little not bad, but hope it clears up soon.

These two have a special  time together.  Sniff is a

 "talker" but mostly with Arvid.  With me he's quiet and 

"reserved"  Always fun to see what happens.  Occasionally

 when Sniff is in a playful mood he will try to bite, Arvid

does get a little worried.  Sniff just plays that way.

Some days Sniff just seems to stare up in the ceiling for

 hours.  Even though I have looked and looked there is 

nothing visible to me that would keep him so captivated.

Our daily walks almost always lead us to the duckies.

  I buy food for them and as Arvid feeds then I take pictures. 

 There are so many, it's  impossible to get them all, but I usually

have lots of food so we do manage to feed many of them.

The days are warmer right now. A so called

 heat wave the city is having.  Arvid happy again and I 

am longing for the days of cooler temperatures.  I won't

 have too long a wait.  This way we are both happy.

Thursday already.  Thursdays are our Fresh Market 

days.  Early walk and that's good because it 

is not yet that sweltering hot and humid.

A little side trip yesterday found us at Park Grill.
 Have to say my very berry Mojito was delicious.

Wishing everyone a day of contentment.
 At the end of the day, I am sure thankful my
blessing are bigger than my problems.

My heart is covered with scars.  Don't get me 
wrong,  I wont trade one scar for anything.  It is 
the scars that have made me the person I am
 today and for that I am thankful...

Back Home ~

The magic thing about home is that it feels good
 to leave, and it feels even better to come back...

I love going on short road trips, but there is nothing

 I love better than coming back home.  Home where 

Sniff is, and where he was patiently waiting for us.  

I loved spending time with my mom and dad.  

Always wish it was longer, but the time we
 spend with them is always quality time.  

We have never had a bad time with them.
I love that Arvid and my parents get along so well.
 Makes my heart full seeing them together.

Always leaving mom and dad breaks my heart.
I wish we lived closer.  My parents are my roll models
in life, and the person I am today is because of them.

I am always grateful to them, and I love
them more than words can ever express.

Already halfway into the week.  As always anytime
 we come back from a trip there is quite a few things that
 need to be taken care of.  No exception this time.
Weather is nice and warm.  A typical "winter"
 day awaits us back home in Fort Lauderdale.

In this home… We do second chances. We do real.
 We do mistakes. We do I’m sorrys. We do loud really well.
 We do hugs. We do together best of all...

Cold Everywhere ~

My favorite thing about winter?  When it's over.

Breaking news: Snow in Florida.  OH wait..that's sand...

Coldest front ever everywhere.  Even Florida. First thing yesterday 

morning my sister calls and says, “it’s raining ice here in Tampa.”  I go

 to work and my tenants tell me, “did you know it snowed in some

 parts of Florida.”   January’s weather can be tricky in Florida. 

Does tend to get a few very cold days, but still better than the freeze we

 are having here at home in Branson.  I woke up this morning and the

 fist thing I see is a text from a friend living in Fort Lauderdale. She said,

 "you choose the wrong time to come.  It's 39F (4C) in South Florida.

Arvid and Sniff are always bundled up at nights watching TV.  It’s cute

 to see sniff hop up and take his spot between Arvid’s legs every night.

 I’m definitely going to miss the little dude when we go to 

Florida.  I’ve grown accustomed to his cute face.

Yesterday I took my tenants and Arvid out to lunch. Everyone said

 “Steak and Shake” because “they have the best milkshakes.”  

Definitely the best. Everyone had a milkshake there are

 flavors I never knew existed, but they did.

Good morning all.  It's cold, but it sure is a beautiful day here in Branson.

Today's forecast Holy Smokes, I cant feel my face degrees.  Wherever you go,

 no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine...
