Monday October 6th~ New Week

What you do today can 

improve all your tomorrows...

Arvid and I have a few things going on

 this week.  Some work and some fun. We will 

be staying busy, and nothing beats that.

Yesterday we had another very good outing

 at The Landing.  When the weather is good it is 

the place to be.  At least for us.  You're right on

 the water, and that makes all the difference.

We once again went to one of our favorite places

 at The Landing.  The food never disappoints 

and the ambience is always very relaxing.

Here in Branson the weather is beautiful. 

 Makes being here the right thing to do.  Back home

 in Florida we are still having rain just about every day. 

Not fun at all.  That being said, Florida is home.

To all a very good and productive week ahead. 

 Life may not always be the way we want it, but there 

is always something good in each day.It’s a new week

 with new beginnings. Happy new week ahead.

Monday October 14th~

 Today is your opportunity 

to build the tomorrow you want...

A new week begins.  October is almost halfway done.  

We've had some very good moments, and also very bad times 

already.  The good times are those we share with loved ones, 

and the bad times right now have been all the storms to 

hit the nation.  Mainly Florida and North Carolina.

I am grateful for our families and friends and to know 

that they are always there for us no matter the time nor 

the distance   Many right now are still wondering where 

family members are.  These Hurricanes are no joke and they 

leave a path of grief and destruction everywhere they go.

Yesterday we had a very good outing at Rumrunners.  

Views are good, food is good, and it's the perfect time 

right now for being outdoors.  The temperature is a bit 

cooler, with the breeze, it made for a very good Sunday.

Going to be another busy day here for us, but no complaints

 from Arvid nor I.  Better to stay busy than to be idle.

You define your own life.  Don't let other people 

write your script. When you change your thoughts, 

remember to also change your world...

Thursday June 15th ~

I have always been delighted at the prospect of a 

new day, a fresh try, one more start, with perhaps a bit 

of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning...

 Sniff woke up.  Got brushed.  Had playtime and ate his soft foodies.

  That is always enough to send him back for some more rest time. 

 He's now sound asleep in another of his many favorite spots.

Last night we had our nocturnal visitor, the racoon.  I usually 

bring in the bird feeders at night, but last night I was a bit later 

than usual in doing so.  As I looked out the window I see the racoon

 eating away.  I kinda felt sorry for him so I let him eat a little, 

took a few pictures then went out.  He looks very skinny.

It seems like everyday my wildlife "friends" keep growing. 

 This racoon is NOT my friend, but I did feel sorry for him. 

Back to work in a little.  The day sure goes by fast when

 one is busy.  Definitely something Arvid and I are happy 

about.  Good morning all and a good day to you.

Staying busy is good, but at the same time there are so many

 ways to stay busy, and I wonder if this is the way we want to go.  

Nope. I'd rather be busy doing something else, but for now, another 

busy day awaits us.  Good morning and a good day to all.

Back in Norway, little Loffen is home with his mom and dad. 

 In a box, and just seeing that box is a heartache that does not go away.

  I know everyone says, "it's better this way.  He is not hurting anymore." 

 The day he died, all of that worry was lifted but the weight moved to my/

our hearts. Unless you have lost your furry baby, never ever say to someone

 who is going through this, "it's just a cat."  For us THAT cat was our world.

The new day brings new hope. The lives we’ve led, the

 lives we’ve yet to lead. A new day, new ideas, a new you...
