Sunday April 7th~

Of two sisters one is always the watcher, one the dancer...

My sister Rima is special in the very best of ways.
For instance, when she had the cleaning company clean their
home the ladies recognized her right away as "the baker"

What does Rima do next?  Of course she bakes them a few
of her goodies as an additional thank you for a job well done.
Yesterday she attended a birdhouse building workshop.  As you
can imagine you picked up more clients and had a great time also.
Love the birdhouse.  It looks gorgeous with all their greenery.

Arvid, Sniff and I have been enjoying some very "cool"
mornings on the balcony.  It's not cold, it's just nice and a
crisp feel in the morning air.  Love it.  Some days Sniff is out
there for hours.  Arvid continues to "slack" off with soccer.

Arvid and I had a few little "pit" stops this past week.
Spontaneous which made the outings even better.
Definitely a place I will be going back to.

Some days both Sniff and I give in and watch
soccer with Arvid.  Not so bad really.  According to
Arvid I talk too much and he can't concentrate 😂

Today it's a little more soccer.  More relaxing and an outing.
Weather is still perfect for outdoor dining.  As always our
Sundays are days to just chill and relax.  A good day to all.

Every day, I like to wake up and remind
myself to be grateful of the simple things...

Back In Branson ~

Be yourself because an original is worth more than a copy...

One of my tenants said to me, "welcome back home."
In a strange way it feels like I came home.  Everything
is so very familiar and yet it's not the same anymore.
For those 2 years it was home I was happy.

Now Fort Lauderdale is home and I love it there.
But for the next few days I will be making the most of
my time here in Branson, surrounded by some of the
nicest people I have had the pleasure of knowing.

Branson is not for everyone, but it sure made me
happy while we were there.  I will always be grateful
and thankful for everything we experienced there.

For the people/friends we met and made and for the
memories that can never be forgotten.  Because of Branson
and the people, I know today I am an even better person
than before.  I see life in a very different way.

Life is good and I am grateful that it took us to Branson.

Happy day everyone.  Be happy with what you have.
Be excited about what you want.

Whoever is happy will make other happy...

Tuesday ...

Life is good and it gets better every day...

Good morning all.  Another beautiful day begins and also many things to do.  Here
in Chicago the temperature is cooler than Florida right now.  Both Arvid and I are
really loving it.  At nights we do not need to turn on the AC.  It is cold enough
and for once I am not hot.  I am very comfortable in these cooler temperatures.

We are really making the most of the pool and the hot tub.  Yesterday I had a good
time swimming and then warming up in the hot tub.  Perfect so far.  Life is good.

The city holds its charm over us.  As you can see from the pictures below we have beautiful
scenery as we walk home.  No matter where you go in the city, the skyline is always an
amazing backdrop.  I just can't seem to get enough of it.  Both Arvid and I look at
each other and say "this is a beautiful city."  So happy we are back.

The sidewalks are lines with huge flower pots and all are blooming in bright colors.

There is a lot to do.  Today we take a trip to Home Depot.  We do a lot of walking and that's
good, but on the way back it is taxi.  Not much fun walking 45 minutes with heavy stuff to
carry.  Nope not a good idea.  The temperature is cooler today makes for good walking.

And so begins our Tuesday.  Let's get started for there is lots we need to do.

A good life is when you smile often, dream big, laugh a lot and
realize how blessed you are for what you have...
