Tuesday December 12th ~

Life offers you so many doors, it is up to you
which to open and which one to close...

Doctors appointment today, but just this one for the week.  I have
gotten used to these appointments, and I look at them as some alone
time.  Me and the music.  Occasionally Arvid wants to go with me,
but I have managed to persuade him that it was not necessary.

Each and every sunset we get to see is just stunning.
These are from our walks right by our apartment.

And then the sunrises.  From our balcony.  We have the
most amazing sunrises and sunsets right at our backdoor.

A good day to all and I hope everyone is enjoying the
holiday spirit.  Be kind to each other and have a jolly time.

I shall pass this way but once; any good
that I can do or any kindness I can show
to any human being; let me do it now...

Saturday July 30th ~

Optimism is a happiness magnet. If you stay positive,
good things and good people will be drawn to you...

The wildlife in our backyard is keeping me busy and very
entertained.  Now when I go to the grocery store I have an
additional grocery list for Gerald Sr and Gerald Jr.  They like
carrots, sweet potatoes, apples and bananas.  I've noticed
that Gerald Jr is no longer crazy over sweet potatoes.

Turty  likes her flour tortillas, but she also likes apples,
strawberries and all green leafy vegetables.  She has also told her
friends about the abundance of foodies in our backyard.  Now
there are 3 turtles waiting for food in the mornings.

I now have four Chippy's and they like peanuts, raisins
and dried fruit.  Same as the 8 squirrels.  They get their food
from Chewy together with Sniff.  Lately they have been
getting Chewy delivery more often than Sniff 😏

Yesterday was "cooler" a little rain, but not much.
Arvid went to Almost Home.  We had a pleasant and
very relaxing evening at home.  Listened to some music
and watched some TV.  Was good and very enjoyable.

Tuesday August 25th ~

Life if well lived is enough...

He's had his foodies and his morning brushing
already.  Now it's time for one of those many extra
naps he needs to get him through the day.
Sniff, 😍😻 I love him so much.

Arvid and I were lucky yesterday.  It rained on
and off most of the day, but when we were ready to
go for our walk, suddenly the rain stopped.  We had a
window of one hour.  As soon as we got home the
rain came again.  We were lucky indeed.

I don't think I have ever watched so much television
in my life.  This is also starting to wear me out.  Now
that soccer is over, Arvid wants to watch Netflix
or Prime Video all day long.  Yes, I watch with
him, but for how much longer I don't know.

Due to COVID, many businesses have closed down,
at the same time many are popping up.  Like this one.
It's the cycle of life after all.  Survival of the fittest
seems to apply right now to even businesses

This 40,000-square-foot indoor foodie village
will formally open to the public on Thursday, Aug. 27,
delayed from its original August 2019 opening due to
construction setbacks and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hopefully we will check it out one day soon.

Good morning all.  Woke up to lots of commotion
going on on the outside.  The road cleaners are here.
Too early says Arvid 😁 He loves his morning sleep.

The future has a way of arriving unannounced...
