It's Friday ~

If you have a positive attitude and constantly strive to give 

your best effort, eventually you will overcome your immediate

 problems and find you are ready for greater challenges..

A little blurry, but then sometimes not everything in life is

 crystal clear.  There are days when everything seems sorta cloudy 

and unclear to me, but again, it is what it is.  It's called life. I do

 enjoy doing the things I used to do and going places we did.

Some of my best moments are spent walking along the beach. 

 Listening to the waves and the sound of the birds.  It relaxes me

 and prepares me for Arvid.  Well nothing really prepares 

one for Arvid.  He is a force all by himself.

Everyday Sniff is getting more and more comfortable with 

his surroundings.  Just the other day we took him out for a walk.  

That is we put his leash on and took him to the balcony.

We almost had to drag him there.  He hated every moment.  

Sniff cried and screamed to get back in.  Guess we 

will not be trying that anytime soon again.

In many ways Sniff is so like Brutus.  He loves to help

 his dada in chores and he is constantly following 

Arvid around.  Just like Brutus did.  I miss Brutus 

so very much, and I love Sniff so very much.

The game has its ups and downs, but you can never 

lose focus of your individual goals and you can't 

let yourself be beat because of lack of effort...

On The Road Again ~

My music will tell you more about me than I ever will.

Music is basically the only thing that understands me...

Once again Arvid and I are heading out to St. Louis for a concert.

Arvid has been checking it out ever since we were in Norway. 

 As I always say, Arvid is happiest when he is listening to the music. 

 Music takes him away and let's his mind relax.  Every so often he

 really needs it.  Add a few cold ones to that and he's in heaven.

Then come tomorrow we will be in North Carolina.  Some more 

cold ones with my dad, and definitely he is relaxed and jolly. 

 My parents love Arvid and he loves them.  This makes me 

happy because when we are together it's always a good time.  

On Sunday we are all going out to dinner.  We're taking them out

 for a steak dinner.  My dad does not eat beef so he will most 

likely have the fish.  I love going out with my parents.

Life is moving fast for us.  Once back home it’s
time to plan our return to Florida and to Chicago.

Tonight we enjoy the music and some of St. Louis.  Life is good.

We now have some more time to do the things we used to do.

To all a great weekend and remember it's all about quality of life, 

and finding a happy balance between work, friends and family.

Nothing makes a person happier than having a happy heart...

New Week Again ~

New week, bring it on...

All ready to face another week.  Caffeine has kicked in and I feel

totally energized.  Bring it on whatever it is the day holds, I'm ready.

As it has been for the last few weeks, the fog is rolling in.  As the day

warms up the sun will be out and it's bye bye fog.  As I make my way to work,

I am pretty captivated by the scenery.  Definitely different, but always interesting.

Here at Almost Home everything is quiet.  Most of the tenants are still asleep.

As Tony and I plan for the day, I can already see signs of movement.  A few are up and

waking their dogs.  Some are on their way to work.  And so begins another week.

The fact that I have a sinus infection all over again will/can't slow me down.
All "medicated, caffeinated.  Ready to roll on this Monday.  Bring it on.

This is nothing compared to what my sister and the Island of Puerto Rico
 is facing.  My sister managed to get in a few words this morning at 3 am to
 our mom.  No reception so you grab it if and when you can.  They have
 been on a line for the last 4 hours.  Waiting to buy some bread at a CVS.
  So if you/we think we have it bad.  Take a step back and think again.

A new week rolls in.  A week full of promise, potential

and endless possibilities.  A week for you to pursue your dreams...
