Monday January 19th~

A positive mindset opens the door to endless 

possibilities. Start your week with belief...

 As the new week begins, it is once again

 cold again.  A few more days of it and then 

back to “normal” Florida temperatures.  So far,

 January has been pretty cold 🥶 Too cold.

Yesterday we went to lunch with mom and dad. 

They treated us to a good meal at Nervous Nellie’s 

on Fort Myers Beach. We had plans to sit outside, but the 

day turned out to be cold and windy without much notice. 

 Indoors was just as good and best of all it was warm.

Afterwards we drove them around the beach

 and showed them what Hurricane Ian did and how 

progress is slowly coming along. My mom loved

 all the colors. Says it reminds of of Key West 

and the islands. Does the same for us.

Afterwards we drove home. Arvid was our tour guide.

 We went in one car.  Mom and dad left and Arvid and I

 walked over to feed Legacy, she was not there. It was

 too windy for her to be out there. The wind was 

howling.  Glad she has a safe place to go to.

Today it’s cold. Nothing much planned for the 

week as of right now. We will go over to mom and 

dads one day this week, but it all depends on what 

happens. Yesterday's sunset did not disappoint.

Sniff has been sleeping most of the day yesterday

 on his bed by the TV. I keep the towels on it nice 

and warm by putting them in the dryer. He

 hardly used his heating bed yesterday.

To all a very good week. May 

it be better than the last.

Monday June 23rd~

As we start a new week, remember: you

 have the power to make it a great one...

A new week is upon us already.  Sniff is busy watching

 birds and squirrels.  In between he likes to take a nap.  

Now he tends to naps close to the action so he doesn't 

miss a thing.  All of this "action" sure wears him out.

Arvid and I did go out for a little outing yesterday.

  It was too hot to sit out so we of course sat indoors. 

 Not sure what's going on, but it is extremely hot.  

Arvid's climate change is happening as we speak.

Wishing everyone a good week ahead.  Life is 

short and when you least expect it, everything you

 believed in changes. Be kind to each other and 

never forget to be thankful for all the blessings.

Life continues as usual here.  We have the birds and 

the squirrels that continue to keep Sniff exhausted.

A little dose of inspiration can go a long

 way, especially on a Monday morning...

Monday, New Week Begins ~

The week is yours.  Own it.  Hard work, stay positive, make it happen...

 As the new week begins, it seems as if we have been on the 

go from the minute we got to Missouri.  Arvid has done most of the 

"running" around work whereas I have been doing the other things 

necessary to ensure that Almost Home runs smoothly.  Once

 again we are hiring, and my ad has had a lot of response.

Sniff is super happy we are home.  Just like we are.  

He never leaves our sight and continues to sleep on the 

bed with us.  He's afraid we might be gone again.

Back in Norway, Loffen is missed everyday, but some days

 it's even harder, especially when a little memory pops up.  

Wishing everyone a great week ahead.  Arvid and I have 

quite a few things to take care of.  Busy again and it feels good.

  What can I say?  Busy is our lifestyle 😂 be it good or bad.
