Sunday Again ~

Don't let your perceptions of your
 circumstances limit your possibilities...

I know at times (many times) some things are
easier said than done, but we just have to just keep
pulling ourselves back up, no matter how many
times we fall.  If we don't we may as well just give
up and die. The choice is ours. Ours alone.

Sniff is my happy place.  He has not gotten out of
bed as yet, on the other hand he sure made quite a
racket early in the morning hours.  Maybe he was mad
we left him home alone yesterday for some hours.
He's gotten used to us being around all the time.

We had a good time visiting everyone yesterday.  Max, Kelsey
and Rogue are a little family and just too cute together.

To all a very good day.  Next week we see my parents.
Could not be any happier.  Already planning on where
we can take them.  We always take the to Longhorn
Steak House, hoping to do the same again.

Gratitude has the power to transform everything:
our perceptions, our experiences and our state of mind...

Saturday November 7th ~

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step...

America continues to wait, even though we all know
who will be the next president, it is still not official.
All I can say is that I have lost interest.  Yes, I have my
favorite, but life continues and not much has changed.

Saturday has begun beautifully.  It rained like crazy
earlier in the morning, but right now the sun is shining
and the day is looking good.  Arvid's day is full of soccer,
but I feel like going to the mall a little.  Not it's time to
see who gets what they want 😍 Hopefully me 🙏

Living in the island is simple.  For instance, you want an
ice-cream, you just go to the beach and wait for the 🍦
ice-cream man.  No fancy stores, but simplicity at its best.

Arvid, Sniff and I really are loving living in
Puerto Rico,  and neither of us misses Fort Lauderdale.
And that is strange.  Every so often Arvid would ask, "you miss
home?" I would say no, and he would say, "me neither."

Never thought we would both like living in Puerto Rico
so much.  We lived in the Bahamas before, and after a few
days I was ready to go home.  No matter where we go, I am
always ready to go home after a few days, so how come
I do not want to go home now?  Very strange.

Hello Saturday.  What do you have in store for us today?

The best part of life's journey is who you get to share it with...

Friday January 3rd 2020 ~

One of the happiest moments ever is when you
find the courage to let go of what you can't change...

There is so much going on Downtown Fort Lauderdale.
New construction galore and new restaurants
popping up everywhere.  It's going to be
a pleasant challenge to check them out.

Our walks lead us to interesting destinations and
as the saying goes, one's destination is never a place
but rather a new way of looking at things.

One thing is certain we do love ending up at Kilwins.

You cannot change your destination overnight,
but you can change your direction overnight.

Sometimes we all complain about life and how difficult it is.
A wake up call always puts things into perspective.

As we were waling the other day, we saw
many who were rolling all their possessions.  It makes
you stop and thing and makes one realize that the things
we take for granted someone else is praying for.

Still enjoying all of the goodies I scored from the Swap Shop.

I made up my mind not to care so much about
the destination, and simply enjoy the journey...

Sunday In North Carolina ~

Taking time out each day to relax
and renew is essential to living well..

It's has been a very relaxing time with my parents
in North Carolina.  My mom knows all the things Arvid likes,
and she always has them for him. Breakfast time is relaxed
with lots of laughs and many stories told by my dad and Arvid.
How I love this time with them.  With the 4 of us.

I wonder why it is that to relax we have to leave home?
Back home it's run, run all day long.  Away from home
one has no other options but to slow down and enjoy life
on a little "slower" pace.  Sometimes the most productive
thing we can do is relax.  Today is a lazy day.  Just relax.

My parents are watching cricket and Arvid soccer.
Life is good. Everyone is doing what they love.

Hello all.  Time is precious.  Waste it wisely.

One of the best feelings in the world is when you hug
someone you love, and they hug you back even tighter...
