Friday April 8th ~

 I've learned over and over that life 
happens on its own terms, not mine...

Facebook brought up a memory of our Brutus.

  It took me a while to not go over every single thing

 that happened to my baby.  I miss him all the time. 

 I love our Sniff more than words can express.  

I also love our Brutus with every bit of my heart. 

 Brutus took a piece of my heart with him.

Some days I wish I could go back in time.  Not to 

change anything, but to feel a few things twice.  I wish I

 could hold you in my arms again.  One more time.  

Yesterday was so very cold, with high winds.

  Felt like winter all over again.  My poor flowers were

 swaying and shaking all the time.  Thankfully, they are still

 standing.  Looking forward to seeing them in full bloom soon.

Sniff Sniff has a little kitty acne under his chin.  

Very painful for him, but I have been wiping him down

 with a warm cloth, and it seems the problem is contained. 

 Happy boy he is and I love him so very much.

 be warm one, and a relaxing one for all.

A good life happens when you stop and are grateful 

for the ordinary moments that so many of us just steamroll

 over to try to find those extraordinary moments...

Sunny Tuesday 🌞

Don't save your best for when you think
 the material calls for it. Always bring your

 full potential to every take, and be on top

 of your job, or they will replace you... 

I was actually warm when I went out yesterday, 

but it sure felt good to feel the sun on my face.

  My hands were not cold 😉  It felt so good.

Even though the roads have a clearing everywhere

 has snow accumulation. The parking lots, sides of

 the road, and of course the rocks have their ice, which

 is now melting 🙂 Even "my" lake is very icy 🧊.

As always Sniff knew where to find his sunshine.

 Yesterday he found it once again on the table.

 Few hours basking and he was good to go.

I drove along the path I usually walk in the mornings. 

 There is still ice on parts of the road. Not sure if today 

will be a walking day, but I’m hoping by tomorrow

 it’s better.  Plus today I have a lot of things to do.

I am worried about falling and just sliding

 down into the creek.  It’s a steep road 😱

Sniff has not heard any noises coming from the

 fireplace, at least he has not been hovering around it. 

 My guess is that the machete did it’s job 😂

Another good day to get out.  Do a few things,

 maybe have lunch out again.  Who knows? The day

 is young and it’s looking really good 😃

Wishing all a happy day and hopefully spring

 will be here soon.  One can only hope 🌼.

Thursday September 9th ~

Love life. Engage in it. Give it all you’ve got. Love it
 with a passion because life truly does give back, 

many times over, what you put into it...

 Woke up to this.  Not too shabby.

Sniff has decided he's not ready to face the new day as yet. 

 Still asleep, but at the same time he's keeping an eye on both 

of us.  Just incase we do something and he needs to check it out.

We are having extremely hot days.  The heat
 is getting to me.  same as it does in Florida.

May your day be filled with all things good.

If you’re going to live, leave a legacy. Make

 a mark on the world that can’t be erased...

Greetings From Kentucky ...

It’s better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times...

Louisville, Kentucky.  This is where we will be spending the next

 few days.   Now that we have more free time, we can once 

again do the things we did before we had the hotels.  

This trip brings us to a trade meeting. I love it because I get to

attend the fun parts of the meeting, then spend the rest of the day doing 

things I enjoy, and checking out a place we have never been to before.

The first night we had what’s called the Cowboy Auction.  

We’ve been to many before, but this is the first time we

 are attending one in Louisville.  Was interesting.

It was a little different that the ones we are used to,

 but on the other hand it was also a lot of fun.  The items being 

traded were just hilarious.  Later I found out many were just for

 charity.  The “real” trading takes place in the next few days.

Arvid is in his element.  Loving every moment. 

 If anyone knows how to make a deal it is him.  I just 

enjoy watching him and the process.  I just smile

 because I know no matter what he will do trades.

Another week begins. Ours is mostly all fun and little work. 

Right now I can sure live with that.  All is good at the hotel. 

 Sniff is well cared for and the weather is gorgeous. 

Soon time to check out a little of my surrounds.

Another Week Soon Over ~

The best things in life are the people you love, the places
 you've been, and the memories you've made along the way...

Sniff's day begins very early.  Not that the birds and squirrels are out 

the poor kitty hardly has time to sleep much, on the positive side, 

he's constantly entertained and when he does get some rest

 time he is very tired and sleeps like a baby.  

No matter how "busy" Sniff is he always likes to have 

breakfast with us.  He automatically will jump on the table and sits

while we eat.  And yes, he does want to try just about everything we have.  

I let him because I know once he sniffs it he will not want it again.

  Arvid still halts him, and Sniff keeps getting closer to Arvid's foodies. 

 We have caught Sniff licking on butter, and that we don't want to happen again.

Arvid let Brutus eat from his pizza and other foodies, but so far Sniff 

is not allowed.  many things we let Brutus do, and get away with, 

so far Sniff has not been able to do.  One day we will get there.  

In our hearts Brutus is our baby.  I miss him so very much, 

but I also love Sniff and everyday I know it gets better and better.  The bond

with Sniff is not as strong as yet as it was with Brutus.  It's just different.

The week is soon over.  Time waits for no one and sometimes that's scary.

To all a very good day.  Weekend soon upon us again. Not sure, 

but this week sure has gone by fast.  Warmer weather coming our way. 

 Arvid of cuouse super happy for that.  I am as well, and I am 

sure so is everyone who is living in the cold.

Hello weekend.  You sure got here fast.  Yay!

The bad news is time flies.  The good news is you're the pilot.
