 Christmas 2015 in Fort Lauderdale.  That's the year Brutus 

died and Shadow came into our lives for just a very short time.

Back then we lived in Fort Lauderdale; never imagining all 

the changes we will be going through in the next few years.

I'm getting better everyday.  The headaches are the worse 

and last night my BP was 183/104; scared me a lot for this 

is no joking matter.  That's a little worrisome right now, but I

 keep monitoring it.  Just took it again and it's so much better.

Though life has thrown us quite a few curveballs, but then

 it's the same for everyone.  Life is never fair and when we least 

expect it we get taken for a ride.  Not always good, nor

 always bad.  It all depends on how you handle it.

 The greatest challenge in life is to be our own person and

 accept that being different is a blessing and not a curse...

New Week ~

f something gives you a thrill, it gives you a sudden

 feeling of great excitement, pleasure, or fear...

 Not much but doctors appointments happening this week.

  A total of five appointments in four days.  I'm so ready to

 get this over with and end with the low iodine regimen.

Monday and Tuesday I have an IV infusion.  Wednesday

 I take the iodine pill.  Thursday I have off.  Friday blood 

work and body scan follows.  Come Friday evening

 I am sure looking forward to a slice of pizza.

Hope your week is also looking good.  My excitement is 

bubbling because I can see the "end" of this week happening 

fast.  Next week I'll deal with the ones that are coming.

To all a good week.  Live and enjoy the now.  It is more 

exciting to live an uncertain life that it is to live a boring

 certain life. Life is adventurous and exciting because you 

never know where you will be in a few minutes or so.

Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming,

 we lose the excitement of possibilities...

Thursday July 14th ~

If you want light to come into your life,
 you need to stand where it is shining...

The week is almost done.  Another week went by...just like that.

At AHL Pookie's fate hangs by a thread.  Her 

mama is in the hospital and may never recover enough 

to return to "normal" living.  If she makes it out of

 the hospital, she goes to a nursing home.  

Pookie becomes homeless and a ward of the Humane Society.  

For now, Pookie has her mama's room until next Thursday.  

At that time, no one knows what will happen to her.

In the meantime, I take care of her.  I get her litter,

 foodies, toys and even brough that scratcher she's using. 

 She loves all the attention and her toys.  She's really sweet.
