It's A Great Day Here ~

All life is an experiment.  The more experiments you make the better...

Being in Florida means that
we get to enjoy frequent visit
with friends and family.

No one visited us in Branson, but here
everyone comes.  Another reason why it's
great to be back home where we belong.

Branson holds memories that will forever
be a part of me.  Memories that will be with
me always.  Some of the best people we
have met live there and because
of that it will always be special.

 I look forward to going
back every year and seeing everyone.

But being here in Florida I get to
see family more often. I now have
my sister and husband living here,
and I also have 2 nephews.
 We sure have it good.

That means that everytime someone visits,
we get to have extra special times with them.  Does not
matter if they spend a few days or a few weeks the time
we share together are always special.  That being
said cheers to friends and family.

Another beautiful day begins. Life’s true gift lies in
your freedom to design it beautifully. With each rise of the sun,
you get to chase the opportunity to fill your days with
meaning—to live your life the way you choose.

My mission in life is to not merely survive, but to thrive;
and to do so with some passion, some compassion,
some humor, and some style...

Adventures In Pet-Sitting Land....

The hardest thing about the road not taken
is that you never know where it might have led...

Finding a pet sitter for our Brutus is as tough a job for us, as it is for a parent finding someone
to trust to watch their precious bundle.  As you all know Brutus is our baby and for him
nothing is too much.  Monday we met the first of two sitters.  On Thursday we will meet
the second one and then make a decision as to which is best for Brutus.  Too difficult
to think of someone other than Liliana caring for him when we are not home.

As you can imagine, Brutus is part of the decision making.  Depending on his reaction
to the two of them and of course theirs to him the decision will be pretty easy.  I am
always nervous leaving him alone, even when I know he is in good hands (Liliana).

Liliana, his current pet sitter and my friend has all of a sudden expanded in pet-sitting
land.  It shows that she loves animals and anyone fortunate to have her watch their pet
is lucky.  Although she said she would always be available to watch Brutus, I feel the
need to have a backup because lately her clients have been requesting she live in with the pets.

Eventually Arvid and I are going to be going on vacation, and I would hate to
not be prepared especially when it comes to Brutus and his needs.  I love
to have every thing organized and under control way before hand.  I am not one
to leave anything for the last minute.  A trait I have inherited from my dad.

This is a very stressful thing for me.  First of all, I know we are over protective
of Brutus.  Yes, we both are.  I do not like leaving him with just anyone because
I do not think anyone is capable of caring fr him the way we do, the way Liliana does
and the way Hylda in Chicago did.  Brutus is very fortunate to have Liliana and Hylda.
Remember, cats do speak, but only to those who know how to listen.

Seems that everyone who meets Brutus falls in love with him...Hmmm wonder why?
My parents are here in Florida and we are enjoying time with them very much.

Always good times with them and today they will be meeting Arvid's brother and
girlfriend for the first time.  Yes!  Looking forward to a good time in a bit.

Weather here is still gloomy and UGLY!  Warmer than just about most places, but
still cold for Florida standards.  Also very windy and WET!  YIKES!

For now wishing you all a good day.
Stay warm and do as we do, have a nice cup of hot chocolate...

Sometimes it's hard to pick right from wrong.
The best thing we can do is go with our hearts
and hope it all goes well....
