Saturday June 3rd~

A ruffled mind makes a restless pillow...

 A little outing, a little checking out a car.  So far the 
weekend has been good to us.  And it is just beginning.

Here in Branson you find cool cars just about everywhere.

Arvid had his favorite, the soup and breadsticks.  With just that 

he was happy.  I had my salad and a pasta dish.  Was happy also.

Not sure what we will do today.  It all depends on how fast we

 get bored, and that is a big problem for us.  We are too easily "restless"

 Last night I heard a song and before you know it I was transported

 back to when Brutus died, to when Paul died and all I felt was an

 intense anger.  After a good cry I felt "better"  There will be days

 like these.  The good thing is that it does not linger for too long.

It has taken me years to get to where  this loss is bearable❤

Wishing everyone a very good day. I can feel it; 

there is a restless feeling knocking on my door today.

Nowhere can mind find a quieter or more 

untroubled retreat than in his own soul...

Thursday December 16th ~

 When you feel good you open the 

door for positive energy to reach you...

I have already started seeing some of the people from

 Almost Home.  Makes me happy.  Took Mary to lunch, and 

my calendar has a few more.  There's going to be many lunches 

and breakfasts during the next couple of days.  Very happy.

The temperature is cooling down very fast.  Someone is not too

 happy right now.  He hates the cold 😂  Yesterday we had a high

 of 75F (24C), but the rest of the week is a different story 😂.

Even though Sniff has all that fur, I think he is cold because 

he always finds his way under some kind of blanket.

Nine more days until Christmas.  I'm sure many are 

getting pretty excited by now.  Families soon all gathered,

 laughter and lots of good food and love going around.  

Will be missing family this year.  Arvid,

 Sniff and I will be spending it here in Branson.

  Would really love to have a white Christmas.

Wet, but still a fairly warm morning.

Tuesday February 16th ~

 A little progress each day adds up to big results...

The conditions for the next few days here in Fort Lauderdale. 

 Yes, we are very fortunate.  This February so far has been the

 warmest in a long time.  temperatures are  five to 10 degrees 

warmer than usual.  And we have not had any rain.  Last year

 when Michelle and family were here it rained quite a lot 😡.

Branson, Missouri which we called home for almost

 two years is experiencing one of their worst winters in a

 very long time.  Super cold and the snow is still coming 

down. Dangerous conditions for sure everywhere.

The above picture was taken looking across the 

street from Almost Home.  When we lived there it did get

 cold, but we never had this much snow to deal with.

On a different note, Arvid was talking to his brother. 

 They got to talking about days back in Norway and the

 things they did.  Lots of memories and laughter.  

They talked about a car Arvid owned back in 1978-1979. 

 Called Sundance Kid  A dragster.  His brother then saw

 the same car Arvid had back then in the newspaper. 

 Back then in Norway, this was the fastest car.

It seems the entire nation is going through some

 terrible weather.  Texas is setting record lows for

 temperature and the snow does not help.

Either way you look at it its bad.  Take a look at the

 temperatures around the USA, and then you have Florida

 and Puerto Rico.  Fajardo is where Arvid, Sniff, 

and I lived when we were in Puerto Rico.

Yesterday we worked cleaning up our friends warehouse. 

 Yes, we do work and we are constantly doing things so when

 it gets to the afternoons/evenings it is our quiet time.

 It seems that is when I phone rings all day long. 

 Lately I have been getting way too many calls in

 the evenings.  That is our time, and unless it is

 an emergency I will not take your call., at 

least my phone is on.  Arvid turns his off.

 The only calls at that time allowed then 

are family, and a special friend I have in CA.  If it's

 not am emergency please call me earlier in the

 day, but do remember we also work.

Good morning all, and please remember that

 silence at times is best.  I like my quiet time.

Shhh...I'm witnessing my thoughts.  Please forgive me if

 I don't talk much at times.  It's loud enough in my head...

Tuesday December 29th

 Some of the most powerful times are when we are alone...

It's very quiet here at home.  One person missing makes a 

huge difference, at the same time I am enjoying the quietness. 

 Not that Arvid is loud or anything of the sort, but there is always

 something going on with him.   I feel relaxed for now.

Morning walks continue.  Kitties are getting their

 foodies as usual.  Yesterday  morning only one of the 

twins showed up.  Was not happy about that.

Sniff is walking around looking for Avid.  They

 usually hang out in the office a lot and when they aren't, 

they are usually watching TV.  Well Arvid is and

 Sniff sleeps.  Sometimes they both sleep.

When Arvid called me yesterday the first thing he said 

was, "I'm freezing.  I want to come back to the nice warm weather." 

 He will get over it.  Florida had a cold spell and the apartment 

was chilly, but as he knows, it will warm up.

Sniff woke up looking everywhere for Arvid.  Now he 

refuses to eat.  You see in the mornings, Sniff  would not

 eat until Arvid gets out of the bedroom.  Now it's a waiting game. 

 Good morning all.  A beautiful day it is here in Puerto Rico.

I love that quiet time when nobody's up

 and the animals are all happy to see me...
