Monday April 4th ~

 OK Monday, let's do this...

The new week begins. Thankful that we’re full at

 Almost Home and that we have very good tenants. Always

 makes for good times and a good start of the week.

Weekly inspections continue as part of protocols.

 Tenants have been very good getting things cleaned up 

and thrown away.  As Arvid says, “if you need help with

 the trash we will help you to take it out.”  He’s a no

 nonsense man and everyone likes it that way.

Weather is getting better.  Looking forward to planting 

some flowers at Almost Home, but the girl at the garden 

shop told me to wait another week.  I’m impatient.

I’m the meantime birdies at Almost Home keep me

 entertained as do the ones at home. Life is good.  Sniff is

 happy, and the days are getting brighter and warmer.

Saturdaze Like These ~

Enjoy the journey and try to get better every day. And 

don't lose the passion and the love for what you do...

Friday started out with torrential rains, but the day 

turned out to be pretty nice after all.  Cloudy, not too hot

 and best of all no rain.  Made for the perfect afternoon for

 sitting out and having dinner.  Of course as soon as we

 were done with our meal the rain came pouring down.

Today begins the Air and Sea Show.  Traffic on the 

beach will be a nightmare.  Of course we will not even

 go close to it.  Instead we made alternate plans.

I took the above picture yesterday from Kaluz.  

The Blue Angels have been practicing non stop.  Pretty cool

 seeing them swish by, but not enough to get us to the beach.  

At least not today, but yesterday was another story.

As usual Arvid has soccer games today.  Keeps 

him busy. I would have gone to the mall, but since 

the traffic will make it almost impossible I will skip 

it for today.  Can always brave it tomorrow.

Sniff has been "sleeping in" today.  He has not
eaten nor has wanted to be brushed.  Of course I worry
 because it's not his usual behavior.  Soon he will be going
for his yearly checkup before we leave for Chicago.  I know
all is good with him, but I just can't help worrying.

The day is looking really good right now. 
So far no rain and clear skies;  perfect for the
Air and Sea Show.  Happy Saturday all.  Don't
forget that one small positive thought in the
morning can change your whole day.

Every day, I like to wake up and remind 

myself to be grateful of the simple things...

Just Because ~

Life is all about timing.. the unreachable becomes reachable,

the unavailable becomes available, the unattainable.. attainable. 

Have the patience.  Wait it out.  It's all about timing...

Here in Branson life continues to be bus for us.  Hotels are doing good.
Sniff is healthy and happy and Arvid and I are always on the go.

I have already started with Christmas decorations at Almost Home. Arvid does
not care much about Christmas so my guess is that he will not do any decorating
at his hotel on the other hand his property manager will most definitely decorate.

Branson is just about ready for the Holidays.  The Christmas lights just keep
popping up everywhere you turn.   I love it.  Christmas is my favorite holiday.

Edit your life frequently and ruthlessly.
It's your masterpiece after all...
