Sunday April 6th~

Within you, there is a stillness and a sanctuary to

 which you can retreat at any time and be yourself...

 Yesterday was a fairly quiet day.  Most of the day 

Arvid spent watching soccer.  Sniff and I caught up

 on some shark movies.  Everyone was happy.

After the games and the shark movies we were ready to do

 something, but not feeling great enough to go downtown.  Instead 

we went to the movies.  I love going to the movies.  Arvid enjoys

 all of Jason Statham's movies, and of course I have gotten

 to do the same.  The choice of movie was easy. 

These Cyber Trucks are everywhere, but I sure didn't

 expect it to become part of law enforcement's fleet.

Even though I think they are unattractive, I just 

can't stop taking pictures of them.  They have become

 a pretty common sight here in Fort Myers, like I'm 

sure everywhere else.  Even saw a few in Branson.

A cat may not demand attention, but their love is 

ever-present, like a quiet shadow by your side...

Hello New Week ~ September 11th

It be like that sometimes.  It's OK to not be OK.

Somedays are just harder than others...

 Sniff was having a "rough" morning, so I will just let him

 sleep in some more.  Like his dada he loves his sleep.  He was 

watching the deer in the front yard, and then suddenly he decided

 he's had too much, and before I knew it, he was sound asleep.

On the other hand, my little friends are having a jolly

 good time.  Daisy is eating up a storm, and now she does 

not mind me looking at her.  Before she would fly away. 

 Now she just looks at me and continues eating 🐦.

Baby deer has had enough foodies for the morning.  She is

now just sitting and relaxing as the others continue eating.

Gerald is also full.  He's had a lot of carrots and

 sweet potatoes.  Building up his reserves for the winter.

  He's so fat he wobbles.  I love him, and I will miss him.

Arvid and I enjoyed another beautiful outing at The Landing. 

   Weather was perfect and the views of the lake just keep us 

coming back.  Will sure miss it when that day comes.

A new week begins.  Another inspection coming up at Almost Home. 

 September is definitely looking to be one of the busiest months, at the

 same time it is also a very good month.  Wishing everyone a great

 week ahead.  Remember if you want something badly, just go for it. 

 Give it your best shot.  Who knows?  You may very well succeed.

It's the little details that are vital.

Hello To A New Week....

People say you don't know what you've got till it gone.

Truth is, you know what you had, you just never thought you'd lose it...

Just something I came across the other day.  Not saying I agree with it.

Actually I don't because that does not say much for either one of us.

But if we take it in the way it was meant (humor), then I think it's

pretty funny and right now funny is good.  Good relief for stresses, 

even when one does not believe there is stress in one's life.

Sounds familiar?  Very familiar for me, minus the Red Bull.

That thing is going to kill you.  Monday morning already.  Don't believe

that I am getting nervous as yet.  There are too many things to do today so I will

be busy and as Arvid always says, "busy is good."  Can't disagree with him.

To all of you, good morning.  May this be the start of a wonderful week.

Remember, a little step may be the beginning of a great journey.  Take it.

Sometimes we are too quick to count down the days.
