Thursday May 22nd~

I think it's important to find the little
things in everyday life that make you happy...

Even though we no longer live in Fort Lauderdale, I still
keep myself informed of what's happening in the area. Then
of course I inform Arvid. I do the same for so many other places,
especially where family lives.  Makes me happy to "know"
what's going on.  I still get all the latest news updates👏

Most of the day was spent doing things in our
condo. There are still a few things needing to
be done, but the urgency is not that great.

Everything for Sniff has been taken care of.
Those were the most important things. So far we
have not had time to see any of our friends nor go to
Almost Home.  Right now most important is to fix
up what needs to be done in the apartment.

As I had mentioned in a previous post, Arvid
socialized a bit. He met a guy who belongs to a
group within our community.  Arvid wanted me to
meet his new friend Roger so last night we
met  for Karaoke night at a restaurant.

Unfortunately not many were there.  Everyone
is supposedly coming tonight.  Who know we
may go again.  We had a good time with Roger
and the Karaoke man. Very interesting people.

Sniff is getting faster and faster up the steps.
Not so cautious anymore.  He is getting very brave 😃
When we came home last night we found Sniff up
in the loft.  For him that's a big achievement.

To all a good day.  More organizing and lil'
fixing up again today.  Staying busy always.

To live is the rarest thing in the world...

CLOSED SALE ~ SOLD!!!

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying
to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment...

Arvid and I have been working on this house a
little over a year.  We have done more work for this
listing than we have ever done for one of our own.
Today all our very hard work has paid off.

Today we closed on it.  Today a new owner owns
his own little piece of Paradise, and we could not be any happier.
The "old" owners are also very happy.  They came to realize
that it is not that easy to maintain a property here
in the USA while living in Norway.

Everyone is happy, but I think the 2 happiest are Arvid
and I. I guess this calls for a celebration soon.

Life is good.  Live it.  Enjoy it.

I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything,
but I can do something. And because I cannot do everything,
I will not refuse to do the something that I can do...
