Danielle Is Here ~

It doesn't matter how many people you meet in your life; 
you just need the real ones who accept you for who
 you are and help you become who you should be...

Danielle made it and we could not be happier.
  Of course we have lots to do.  So after lunch we showed
 her around the building, she has been here many
times before in our other apartments so
 she was still familiar with lots of it.

Arvid has of course re introduced her to Soccer.
 Danielle goes with the flow.  She has already
grasped the game.  As she said "lucky for
Uncle Arvid I am not betting with him."

Sniff has already claimed his spot on her bed.
  He loves the pullout for some reason and whoever
 comes, Sniff is a constant on their bed.

The day would not have been complete without
 a trip to Kilwin's.  After that we walked around
 for a bit before coming home to Sniff.

Today we go to Cheesecake Factory.  It has
 been a hit with everyone who has visited us
this summer so why break tradition?

Arvid and I were there on Sunday.
There is so much to choose from when at 

The Cheesecake Factory, and so many 

things on the menu I really like.  

On Sunday I decided on a favorite.  The chicken

 sandwich with the Caesar salad.  It was delicious 

and how lucky we are that back home in Florida, 

The Cheesecake Factory is just a boat ride

 across the River for us. Lucky  us.

Today who knows what will catch our fancy.
  Even Arvid has a few items on the menu to choose
 from.  Usually when he goes to a restaurant he
 always eats the exact same thing, but here he has
a few selections.  Win Win for everyone.

Happy Wednesday all.  Wishing you all an
amazing day. Life is to be lived to the fullest.

A lifetime isn't forever, so take the first chance,
 don't wait for the second one! Because sometimes, there
 aren't second chances! And if it turns out to be a mistake? 
So what! This is life! A whole bunch of mistakes! 
But if you never get a second chance at something you
 didn't take a first chance at? That's true failure...

Good Times Always ~

Sometimes you have to accept the fact that certain things

 will never go back to how they used to be.  Life goes on....

The day began on the "cooler" side so to speak. 

 As a "new" routine, mainly for Arvid, we had our tea and 

coffee on the balcony.  A half hour or so of quietness and just 

time to observe daily life going on around us.  Always

 interesting to see who passes by and watch the boats.

This morning we saw another boat trying to

 turn around.  The canal is not that wide so it took him a 

while to find the perfect spot to make the turn.  Makes life

 interesting when there is always something going on.

Next month Arvid and I will be going back to Branson. 

 I am so excited to be seeing everyone again.  I know things

 change, but I look forward to being back in Branson.  A

 place that will forever hold a special spot in my heart.

The day is cloudy and dark.  Same as yesterday,

 but always warm and there was a little breeze on the 

balcony this morning.  Got my fruit already

 for the week so all happy here.

Sunday Vibes ~

Stop focusing on what you have to lose and

 start focusing on what you have to gain...

Relaxing.  Arvid making his Sunday calls.  Routines that

 make for good times. On Sundays Arvid goes "all the way out" 

as he likes to say.  Sundays are for bacon and eggs.

Yesterday evening Arvid had some time out with the boys.  

I had some time alone with Sniff and a good book.

  We were both happy.  He did try to get me

 to go with him, but this time I said no.

Today there is a lot of soccer going on.  Arvid plans

breakfast in between the breaks.  He tries to get all his 

phone calls done before because as he says, "it's now done, 

and I can watch the games without interruption."  Sometimes 

it works and sometimes it does not.  Arvid is flexible after all.

Another beautiful day here.  My balcony pick for this morning.

Hello Sunday.  And what do you have in store for us today?

Sometimes you just have to accept the truth and 

stop wasting time on the wrong people.  It is up to

 you to see the beauty of everyday things...

To All A Good Day~

Where there is hope there is faith,

where there is faith, miracles happen...

Good morning everyone.  Every morning I wake up and I hope for a miracle.

Miracles happen all the time so I know we are due for some ourselves.

Monday already.  New week and we are all set and ready for it.

We have been away for  little, but it sure feels good to be back home
 and to get things done.  It is much cooler here than it is in Florida,
but I like it.  Arvid likes the warmth, but he said to me,
 "you know it feels good to be back home."

 Home where Sniff is.  Boy was he running in circles the
first two days.  He sure missed us.  Just like we missed him.

The day is nice and bright.  I feel it is the start of good things 

coming our way.  Wish you all the same as well.

The moment you are ready to quit is usually the moment right

 before a miracle happens.  Don't give up.

To all a very good day.  You know what they say, everyday is a
winding road.  Positive thinking and positive attitude can sometimes
make miracles happen.  Beautiful day today here at home.  Not all is great,
but there are a few things that sure can brighten up one's life.

The morning started with a good vibe and I am sure that
 it will continue to be so. One can always hope and sometimes
ones prayers get answered.  Yes sometimes they do.

When some bad things happen you have three choices. 
 You can either let it define you, let it destroy you,
 or you can let it strengthen you....
