Monday November 21st

I heard it's snowing this week.  But I'm in
Florida, so that's none of my business...

It's been a little on the "cold" side the last few days.
Boy how did we get so wimpy?  In Branson yes it was cold,
but we never had time to complain about it.  Now we do 😂

Today Arvid's schedule is fully booked.  That is, he has a lot
of soccer games going on.  It's going to be very interesting to see
how many he can watch at the same time.  So far he has been
watching 2-3 at the same time, and yes he has missed most
of the goals.  He had to watch them in replay ⚽

A few doctor's appointments this week.  My days are
now filled with doctors appointments.  Whatever we need
to do has to be scheduled around my appointments 🙈.

To all a very good week ahead.  For many it's a 3 day
work week.  Thanksgiving is right around the corner.

Yesterday I had a few rough moments.  Suddenly without
any warning my heart was missing my PR kitties and I let myself
"indulge" in some pictures and videos of them.  Not good.  Though
I save them in my phone, I rarely look at them.  It still hurts. I
cannot bring myself to delete them either.  Maybe one day I might
be okay doing it.  Not today.  It's still very raw in my heart 💔.

Late Post ~ November 11th

There's that occasional night when you
just break down and cry because you know
things will never be the same again...

When we left Puerto Rico, a part of my heart remained there.

We called Fajardo home for a little over a year.  Leaving
Fajardo for now was not the most difficult thing to do. Leaving
behind my sister and my kitties was heartbreaking, and that's
all I will say.  To get into it will just cause me heartache
and I have enough without dwelling on it right now.

Sniff was pretty OK in the plane.  He did not really cry
that much, but he was scared.  When we left Puerto Rico this time,
the skies were beautiful.  Our final look for now was at a beautiful
rainbow.  As if saying, "everything is going to be all right."

I am glad to be home for now, at the same time I am very heartbroken.
My thoughts keep going back and forth to the kitties I left behind in 💔
Puerto Rico. Maybe one day it gets easier.  Today is not that day.

To all a good day.  I was prepared, but it still hurts like crazy.

To all our veterans, Happy Veterans Day.
The willingness of America's veterans to sacrifice
for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude. In
the face of impossible odds, people who love this country,
can change it.  Home of the free because of the brave.

No matter how bad your heart is broken,
the world doesn’t stop for your grief...
