Chilly Morning...= Cold Front in Florida..

Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine...

For us here in South Florida, "winter" is showing its face. By winter I mean we are going to drop to the 40's for a few days. Yes, it's cold for us. Time to get snuggle up and cozy..

Being used to average temperatures of the 70's this time of the year, this is a "drastic" change.

Time to pull out the gloves, sweaters and scarf, and yes, these are days for hot chocolate.

Now I am the one making it rather than Arvid, and he seems to pretty much likes it.

What better way to enjoy these cold days than with the company of friends and family.

Madeline and I..

I think she likes me, and I definitely find her adorable. We had a pretty good time yesterday with little Madeline and her parents. Stay warm everyone. Bundle up and do as I do have lots of hot chocolate and lots of extra blankets for these cold "winter" nights in Florida. Almost everyone else knows how to cope with the cold. In Florida we are basically wimps when it comes to the "chill"

Don't knock the weather; nine-tenths of the people couldn't start a conversation if it didn't change once in a while...

Sunday...

Sunday is the golden clasp that binds together the volume of the week...

We woke up to a beautiful day, but boy is it cold. The sun is shining outside so I decided to go out in the balcony and see if it were really as cold as the thermostat says. Well! It's COLD!

Found myself rushing back inside and adding another sweater to the already two that I have on. Arvid just looks at me and says he can't wait for us to get back home to Florida where he can get into his shorts and I can start showing more skin. His very words. The good thing is that it should get warmer during the week.

Currently Florida is warmer, but more humid and with thunderstorms and rain. According to my friend Liliana we should wait a bit more until the weather is better. I say we go because not a fan of cold temperatures. Brings out all the aches and pains in my body. Plus I don't like wearing so much clothes.

As is usual Arvid calls his family today, but seems he got caught up in a soccer game so every time they go on break he rushes for the phone. He loves his soccer and he has Brutus also watching with him.

His team is Barcelona, but any game with lots of goals is his kind of game. The man gets into it!! Yes, I also watch with him and according to Arvid anytime there is a goal, I am always right in front of the TV:)

Not too much right now. Cleaning and getting ready to go back home to Florida. Though cold, the days are beautiful and sunny. We hope to capture most of it while still here. Have made a list of a few things that we would like to do again before leaving. Yesterday was probably our last trip to Navy Pier.
