Monday January 26th~

Each week offers you a new
 canvas—paint it with purpose...

First he woke up on his warming bed as if
wondering what is going on and why have I not
been fed already.  Then he goes to his mat and
waits for his food.  It happens this way every
morning.  And so a new week begins.

Start the new week with a fresh perspective,
focusing on new goals, a positive mindset,
 and, most importantly, taking action.

Bad weather is what most of our friends
and family are currently experiencing. It’s
just one big snow storm after another.  I’m
so worried if they should all lose power.

My sisters all received a good amount of snow.
Last Nina mentioned they had 21 inches in her
hometown of Pennsylvania.  As of today I do
not know if they have lost power so far.

Meanwhile here at home, Arvid, Sniff and I
enjoyed a warm Sunday.  We had a very nice
outing with outdoor seating. The place was packed,
food was good as were the drinks.  There was
also live music.  Could not be any better.

Afterwards we walked around the marina a
little enjoyed the boats and had some entertainment
watching couples paddle boarding.  Afterwards we came
home and we went to feed Legacy.  A bit later than
usual, but she was there. Sitting and patiently
waiting. She’s getting friendlier every day.

The new week so far does not look too
busy, but if things go the way we want them
to it will get busy.  For us busy is good.
To all a good day.  The fog is back.

Every new day begins with possibilities...

Monday January 12th~

Nobody can go back and start a
new beginning, but anyone can start
today and make a new ending...

January is going by pretty fast.  We are already in
week two.  So far the year has been pretty good to us.
Sniff, Arvid and I are healthy and doing good we are
enjoying life in Florida, at the same time we are looking
forward to going back to Branson. Branson has a pull
on us, and we keeping going there again and again.

Yesterday Arvid spent most of the day watching
soccer. I did some cleaning and went to feed Legacy early
in the morning and also around 4:30 in the afternoon.

During the morning feed a police car pulled up
next to me and  the first thing he said
was "what's the last four digits of your phone
number.”  I asked why he wanted it and he
just kept saying I had to give it to him.

I told him I will not do that and I didn’t. He kept bugging
for it.  I finally said to him, “tell me what are the last four
digits of the number that called you”. He did and I said nope
not me.  He said, “are you sure?”  I told him I know my own
phone number and continued to take care of Legacy. The
police officer hung around there and once I was done taking
care of Legacy I left, but he was still there. Weirdo.

After Arvid’s last game we went out for pizza.
We (Arvid) also tried the calzone.  Arvid has never had
a it before.  He was shocked at how big it was.  Neither
of us were able to finish our calzones. It was good but
messy to eat.  They made it while we waited we came
back home did a few things then watched some TV.  One
of our favorite shows (Landman) streams on Sundays.

Our family is heartbroken.  Rima and family
are destroyed.  Today their baby Marley was put
to sleep. One of the worst heartaches for those
of us who have pets.  My heart is grieving..

It’s Monday. Get a new perspective. Whatever
 obstacle you’re facing — it’s not permanent...

Monday September 8th~

Your Monday morning thoughts
set the tone for your whole week...

Back from our little getaway, but have not had
time to download my pictures as yet.  Coming soon.
Today starts a new week, and as everyone knows
when you get back home from a little getaway there
is always a ton of things to do.  For me right now,
laundry takes priority.  Sniff loves clean linens.

Looking out the window from our breakfast nook
I see Charley running up the stairs.  She spent most
of the day chasing birds and and whatever else she
can find.  Now she's ready for a little indoor time.

Woke up to a a beautiful moon just waiting for me.
I was also happy to see the sunrises in St. Louis
and in Chicago over the weekend, but happiest
was when we got back home to our Sniff.

Every morning, you have two choices: continue to
sleep with your dreams or wake up and chase them...
