Thursday November 12th ~

Spend time thinking of what you
want rather than what you don't want...

Dark skies continue to "haunt" us as does the rain,
but even so it's pretty to see the contrast amongst the palm trees.
Arvid still finding chores to do in order to keep busy.  Soon
we hope to have our very own hammock set up.

Yesterday I did a mini walk in the rain just so that I
can leave food for the kitties.  Fortunately, they were all
there.  Just waiting.  And just like that the rain eased off
for half an hour.  They were able to eat their foodies and I
was happy, even though I was unable to compete my walk.

A new kitty showed up.  Tiny grey and white.  Very
skinny and hungry.  He ate fast then took off even faster.

The above picture is our visibility from
the bedroom.  Now going on for days.

The above is how it is right now.  Bleak and pretty
boring days here, even if we live in a tropical paradise.  Rain
is rain no matter where you go, and yes it is warm rain.

Sniff seems to be in great spirits once again.  He has
gotten into living in the islands.  I'm pretty sure when we go
back home he will definitely adjust right away, and will be
very happy to go back on his beds and favorite spots.  For now,
he is discovering new spots right here in Puerto Rico.

A few small chores in store for us today.  Always something
to do.  Love it.  Happy Thursday all.  Soon it's countdown for
Thanksgiving.  Happy to be in Puerto Rico and we look forward
to spending it with my sister Nirvana, J and Kimsy.

Life is a journey with problems to solve and lessons
to learn, but most of all, experiences to enjoy...

Saturday June 13th ~

Go where you feel the most alive...

Fridays are starting to look good again.
We have ventured out.  Finally.  Second Friday
in a row we have sat on the outside for drinks.
It feels really good to be out again. Life ๐Ÿ˜‚

Next accomplishment would be eating out,
but for now we will continue to wait.  Arvid says
if he ate out we would take our own utensils.  I said,
then we don't.  I'm not ready to carry all of this
just to eat out. So we will continue to wait.

We got to the restaurant.  Our temperatures
were taken.  This is happening in many places so
that was all good.  You have to wear the mask to get
into the restaurant.  The staff was not all very happy
with that setup, but they are professional about it.

Last week we had drinks at another restaurant.  This
one was not very good with their safety precautions.
For now I don't think we will be going there.
Yesterday Arvid refused to share the appetizer
with me.  Said he didn't feel safe about it ๐Ÿ˜ท.

You can't rush Arvid, but in the meantime
I am happy we ventured out.  For now
we still will continue to do take-out.

Happy Saturday everyone.  Little by little life is
returning back everywhere.  The fact that everyone
is so concerned about the higher numbers of COVID 19
does not make it any easier, but let's remember these numbers
are getting higher because more testing is being done, and
yes some will be sick, but it one practices safety and
๐Ÿ˜ทsocial distancing we should be able to stay safe ๐Ÿ™„.

Take time to just move.  Your body longs to feel alive...

Staying Busy...

Keep busy at something.  A busy person never has time to be unhappy.
The secret is keeping busy and loving what you do...

Monday morning.  All set and ready for the week ahead.  Hope the same goes
for everyone.   Yesterday was another beautiful day here.  Arvid and I did
a little shopping and I ended up with this cutie pie I'm holding.

Valentine's day is not a big thing for us.  Just another day to be grateful
for what we have and who when have in our lives.  I never want to forget that.

My niece Lilly Vade pictured above in the pink top is one of the happiest
persons I know.  From little she is learning that no matter what life brings her way
the best way to deal with it is with a positive attitude.  Her mom and dad sure
is teaching her how to deal with life and people.  Lilly Vade is pure love.

Pictured above eating oatmeal is Aleah our eldest granddaughter in Norway.
She is growing up way too fast.  Both girls are just pure love as is
Vanessa our other  granddaughter.  Thank heaven for little girls.

Wishing everyone a week full of all things good and happiness always.
Busy days await us and that is always a good thing.  When the mind is busy,
less time for the heart to ache.  My goal everyday is to be busy, busy.

People tend to be happier when they are kept busy, as this prevents
them from thinking about the negative things in life...
