Saturday September 21st~

Eagles come in all shapes and sizes, but you 

will recognize them chiefly by their attitudes...

 I wake up every morning very happy and 

excited to "stalk"  Southwest Florida's eagle family, 

that being M15 and F23.  They are always entertaining 

and always up to some mischief.  Love them🦅

Yesterday I did a few chores I had. Arvid stayed 

busy. He knows how to do busy better than anyone

 I know.  I still have not figured out his method 😂

BTW, that's or building in the background.

We had a light lunch at home because the 

highlight for the day was Music Walk, and of course

 we could not not have a slice of pizza. Arvid seems 

to have missed it very much. Strange man because

 he said he had more than enough in Norway 🫣

Music Walk would not be the same without "Jesus" 

We had a stopover at Hideaway and then we walked 

around to a few other places.  I medicated myself so that 

I would be able to do the walk. Today I pay for it.

On our way back home I told Arvid that the spa next 

to us has reopened, and business seems to be picking up. 

 It was totally damaged by hurricane Ian.   He said to me, “ don’t 

ever talk to me about spa. I hate that word.”  Well who knows 

what got into him.  He said he does not want to ever hear 

the word spa again.  It was so out of character for him.  I 

guess I won’t be able to convince him to go with me 🥹. 

To all a good day.  For Arvid there is lots of soccer today.

Happy New Year 2020 ~

Here's to the bright New Year, and a fond farewell
 to the old; here's to the things that are yet to
 come, and to the memories that we hold...

2019 came and went way too fast.  We have had

 great moments and a few not so good.  That goes for 

everyone, but in life we learn to take the good with 

the bad.  What other choice do we have.  None.

This is the fifth New Year we have without our 

Brutus and the 4th without Shadow.  Brutus is never 

far from our hearts and in each day there is always 

something that reminds us of him.  We smile and

 at times there are some tears.  Life again.

May this new year bring many opportunities your

 way, to explore every joy of life and may your resolutions 

for the days ahead stay firm, turning all your dreams 

into reality and all your efforts into great achievements.
Happy New Year to you and your loved ones.

We all have resolutions for the New Year.  Most

 begin them and then just let it fade away.  I try to 

remember that the greatest resolution I can make is to 

always stay kind, humble and grateful.  To never take

 anyone or anything for granted.  I want to believe

 that I am always true to this resolution.

Someone said, "tomorrow is the first blank page

of a 365 page book.  Write a good one..  Words of 

wisdom and if we live by them this world

 would be a much better place.

Trust yourself. You know more than you think

 you do.  You have to learn the rules of the game.

 And then you have to play better than anyone else.

New Year's Resolution: To tolerate fools more

 gladly, provided this does not encourage
 them to take up more of my time...
