Friday Feels ~

Each day has a different shape to it.  You just roll with it...

Amenities in our building have reopened following
certain guidelines.  The pools, the gym with appointments can
now be used.  I asked Arvid if he thinks we will go to the pool,
his answer was "most likely not."  Does not surprise me.

Back home in Florida we rarely used it.  We do have 3
pretty pools here in our complex.  This being the main one.

Fridays we usually go to the beach.  Have a Pina Colada and
catch a little of the sunset.  Hopefully today will do the same.
Depends on how Arvid is feeling.  I had no side effects from
the vaccine other that a little soreness to the arm, but nothing
even worth mentioning.  See how or if Arvid feels anything.

A great day to all.  Make each day your masterpiece.

The only secret behind a good day is a good attitude...

Always Thankful ~

love life and nothing intimidates me anymore...

The most important thing in life is to learn
how to give out love, and to let it come in.

Yesterday our day started with a trip to
Coral Ridge Mall.   First we had breakfast and enjoyed
some time together.  My mom, Mala and I.

From there my mom and Mala had a date with
the nail salon.  No matter how much time passes,
Kim, the owner always remembers my mom.
Whenever my mom is in Fort Lauderdale and
my sisters this is where they come.

My parents after all lived in Weston, and this was
where she always came for her manicures and
pedicures.  I miss having my parents and Mala
in Florida.  Mala and family also lived here.

Sniff came out like a bandit.  He always gets
presents from my family.  I also ended up with a few
goodies.  Mala insisted on buying me a dress.

Sniff sniffing our drinks.  Wondering what's going
on with all this company we are having.

My life is surrounded by good people.
It's filled with love and happiness, and I wish
everyone can feel the same.  It is not because I
have everything I want.  No, it is because I
have exactly what I need and who I need.

Mala was in the mood for some Latin cuisine,
so yesterday we took her to one of our favorite places.
Luckily everyone likes the food there.  My parents,
Arvid and I.  Always an enjoyable time, and even
better when shared with the ones you love.
Thanks mom and dad for the dinner.

I am having a wonderful time.  A little tired at time,
but I won't change it for the world.  Having family around
is always a special time, and I know that when everyone
leaves it will be very quiet.  I won't think about it
right now.  Just enjoying my time with them.

Mala and I did manage to squeeze in another margarita.
I am already missing her, even though she has not left as
yet. Mala is my little baby, and for her I will do any and
everything.  That being said I would do the same for all my
sisters, nieces, the grand kids and my 2 step daughters.

I am fortunate to have a wonderful family here and
in Norway.  Life has been good to me and I
plan to always be good back to life.

Wishing everyone the best of times.
Sniff by the way is still cold.

We are shaped and fashioned by what we love...

Sunday Mode ~

A dream doesn't become reality through magic;
it takes sweat, determination and hard work..

For us Floridians, yesterday was pretty cold. Also windy.
The beauty of being in South Florida it that the “cold”
only lasts for a short time.  Back to summer clothes again.
All except for Arvid of course. For him it’s always
“cold”. Sniff and I are loving this “cold” weather.

I tried dressing Sniff up in Brutus’ Christmas clothes,
but Sniff is not that pliable as were Brutus and Shadow.
He fights the process way too much.  Even so, I did manage to get
a few pictures of him.  Sniff loves to be
next to us.  He has to see us at all time,
but still does not like being picked up.

This Christmas I think one of the biggest presents
are women getting Botox.  At the mall just about
every other girl, woman has these pouty lips.
Looks really weird if you ask me.  Scary.

Yesterday I was at Target and it seemed like every
other woman there had abnormal looking lips. I do not
have anything against making one look better, but
I think Botox is weird.  The lips just look freaky.

It’s Sunday. 2018 is soon over.  For us it has been a
year to remember. We have accomplished quite a lot in a lot
less time than anticipated.  2019 is just around the corner.

I don’t know what it is, but I am hoping for a brand new
adventure in our lives.  For now we are enjoying being back home
in Florida. From here there is so much we can do.  Arvid after
all is a trader and just that takes us all around the countryside.

Hello Sunday.  What do you have in store for us today?

The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams...

New Week...New Attitude..

Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude is going
to determine how you're going to live your life...

Sundays in Branson..routines are always the same.  Arvid called his family.  Breakfast
is later than our usual 9am and of course means our Sunday meal is moved an hour
later.  Yes, we still have our routines.  Sundays now is also a hot chocolate day.
Different place, but one thing that is always consistent is our routines.

Christmas is everywhere.  My sister Nirmala who lives in Vermont visited my nephew
J and my sister Nirvana in Boston over the weekend.  Something I wish I would have been
able to do. They walked around.  Checked out the Christmas lights and of course did
shopping and had good food.  Boston after all is known for very good food.

A few days ago I saw this and right away I knew it was referring to all my sisters.
They face every challenge with a positive attitude.  My sister Rima had surgery two
weeks ago.  Of course my parents went to stay with her and to help with the kids.
My parents are the best there is.  Anytime we need them they are always
there for us.  If I were to need them they would be right here with me.

Take Rima for example.  She's the youngest. My mom says she is now the family's guru.
She is always positive and always looking for the good in everyone.  Life has thrown
her just like it has to so many of us, some tough moments.  All I can say is that
this girl bounces back.  They all do, no matter what is thrown at them.

She is my baby sister and I am protective of her.  As little girls we
shared the same bedroom at home.  We fought, we made up and fought more.
Typical of sisters.  Today as grownups we are more than sisters,
we are friends.  We don't always agree, but who does.

Everyday I learn something new from each one. many a times
I am amazed at all the things they can do, and that they juggle so much
at the same time yet manage to stay focused and balanced.

I watch them and I am always in awe.  Our parents are proud of the way
their daughters turned out.  I am proud to be related to these four amazing women.
My sisters and my best friends for life.  We are always there for each other.

Good morning everyone.  I hope you also have amazing people in your lives.
Be it a sibling, a friend or that special person that makes you feel that everything is
possible, when we try hard and never give up.  Life has too many ups and downs, but
the thing is to always go after what you want.  We don't always get what we want,
but we will have the satisfaction of knowing we did everything possible.

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the
attitude you bring to life; not so much by  what happens to you
as by the way your mind looks at what happens....
