Missing You ~ December 22nd ~

Memory is the diary we all carry about with us..

Today is one of those days.  Nothing happened
that I can think of, but today I am missing my Brutus
so very much.  I would love to hold him again

Time heals the agonizing grief.  Yes it does.
Time does not erase the ache in my heart.

Where you used to be  there is a hole in the world
which I find myself constantly walking around
in the daytime and falling in the night.  I
 miss you like hell Brutus.

You'll be the last thing I think of before I fall asleep
and the first thing I think of when I wake up.

Sunday and it's a cold one.  Today we go to mom
and dad's for dinner.  Nina and David are also going
to be there.  Looking forward to that very much.

To all a happy Sunday and may you always have
something to be grateful for.  It's a cold start already.

Sometimes, all you can do is lie in bed, and
hope you fall asleep before you fall apart...

If You Like Pina Coladas ~

A pineapple a day keeps the worries away...

Living in Puerto Rico, means Pina Coladas all day long,
if you so wish.  Can imagine my delight?  My favorite
frozen drink is a Pina Colada 🍹 Every day is happy
hour day on island time.  We are sure loving it.

This is my happy place, and looking forward to
many more happy days to come.  May all your
days be filled with umbrella drinks☂️.

It's all about palm trees and 80 degrees.  A happy day to all.
I could never in a hundred summers get tired of this.

Today's forecast: beach, with a chance of drinking.
Go where the wifi is weak and the rum is strong...

April 16th ~ Where Is Your Common Sense?

Because you can't argue with all the fools in the
world It's easier to let them have their way, then
trick them when they're not paying attention...

Where is common sense in people today?  Would
you give up your child if your child was sick?  To a pet
parent it's the same.  No way in hell is my answer.

My life is better because of the fur babies we have and
we had. Pets won't spread the coronavirus to humans,
experts say, so why are they being abandoned
this way?  What's wrong with people today?

According to the World Health Organization, there's
no reason to panic about pets as possible victims or
carriers of the coronavirus, since there's no
 evidence they can be infected.

If our Sniff were to get sick, I pray he does not,
but if he did, we would do everything in our power
to make him better.  He is our baby after all.

I am sure most think this way about their fur babies,
but it's the few who do the unthinkable that makes
this world a not so good place.  Remember there is
nothing more powerful than common sense.

Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because
you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it...

A Good Day To All ~

Contemplate the good things in your life and be grateful for them...

It's nice to go back for walks.  Check out familiar places,
and some not so familiar anymore.  On one of our outings I
came across a beautiful sunset of course I had to take a
picture.  It made me think of Turkey for some reason.

Not sure I have seen it before so it sure caught my attention.
Yesterday we walked around the downtown area a bit.
We had to go to our brokers office and since it's downtown,
it just made sense to just check  out the area some more.

I am happy to be able to go back for my morning walks along
the beach.  Relaxes me and I get to have some alone time.
Now Arvid and I are home all the time TOGETHER!

Sniff is getting into a few routines again.  Happy for that.
He has beds all over the place, but not the same spots as Brutus
used to.  Sniff wants everything to be different for him.  He moves
when we move.  If he does not see us he starts crying.

Happy Sunday everyone.  Remember when
you think positive good things happen.

Just knowing you don't have the answers is a recipe
for humility, openness, acceptance, forgiveness, and an
eagerness to learn - and those are all good things...
