Bird is a clean, affordable, convenient, car

reducing alternative to making cities more enjoyable. 

Bird is a dockless scooter-share company based in Santa Monica, 

California. Founded in September 2017, Bird operates electric 

scooters in over 100 cities throughout North America, Europe,

 and Asia, with 10 million rides in its first year of operation.

In 2018, Bird was named one of Time Magazine's 50 

Genius Companies, and one of the most sought-after 

startups in the United States, according to LinkedIn.

Bird Scooter together with some others (Lime) are

 super popular all over town.  People just rent them and drop 

them off in any given spot.  The other day we were at our 

brokers office, and to get into the parking Arvid actually had 

to step out of the car and move one of the scooters out of the way.  

People leave them anywhere.  Even in the middle of the streets, 

parking lots you name it.  Very convenient, but also can become 

problematic if people abuse them (like with everything).

Unfortunately there is a also a lot of vandalism

 that goes with this scooter business.  People fed up with

 the clutter of scooters all over the city have started to

 burn them, throw then into the ocean, canal or river. 

 There is some "wicked" person everywhere 

just waiting for a chance to to be wicked. 

It's life.  You take the good with the bad.  A beautiful day to all.

Good and bad ideas both come from the same

 fountain of speculation and experiment. Live life 

to the fullest, and focus on the positive..

The Search Is On ~

Shortest horror story ever.. SOLD OUT!!!

The days are winding down.  Soon we will be going to Norway. 

 This year is even a little more special than the others.  

Michelle is getting married.  Yes, little Michelle, the mother

 of our two granddaughters is marrying Emil, her true love.

And to top it all off, I will be seeing some of Norway.

This of course means that I need to find that "perfect" dress.

  In my case I just need to find a dress.  Have looked and looked. 

 Have even bought a couple, but after debating a lot I still

 do not know if either is the "perfect" one for me.

Arvid of course already has his suit.  It took him all of one

 visit to the mall and before you knew it, the man had the suit, 

alteration and all.  Of course I had to approve of it, and together

 (mainly I) we choose the shirt and tie to go with it.  All I know 

is that he will look even more handsome than he already is.

I found many things I wanted in the mall, and of course could

 not help but buying some, but I really did not go shopping

 for handbags, shoes or other clothing.  I came home 

with them, but no dress was in the picture.

Hopefully today we will be going to the mall here in Springfield. 

 Nothing like the Galleria mall, but at least there is one store I know 

I can look.  It's not like I found the dress at galleria anyway.  Not so 

lucky as Arvid.  Have done the online thing but not happy.

Another Sunday is here.  Sniff is definitely doing the

 relax thing already.  Not sure as yet what our day holds, 

but I'm sure whatever it is, it will be a good one.

I could give up shopping, but I'm not a quitter.  I have 

been shopping all my life and I still have nothing to wear...

February 24th ~ Going Home

A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the
mind as well as the body.  It also has to have Sniff and Arvid to be home for me. 
Where we love is home- home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts...

It was good to be in Florida for a few days.  We enjoyed the company of
 family and friends, and of course of warmer temperatures.  We did a little 
work and enjoyed many of our favorite places, but as always it is also
 very good to go home.  Home is where Sniff, Arvid and I are together.

 I know I am excited to see Sniff's little face and to hear his "voice"again.
Missed him very much and though I know he is well cared for,
 I can't wait to go home and pick him up even if he just let's me 
carry him for a few seconds.   It's better than nothing.

Sniff spent a total of almost 4 months in Florida.  One day we will take
 him back and on that day Florida will be home again.  For now our
 apartment in Fort Lauderdale is just memories of mostly Brutus
 and some of Shadow.  One day we look forward to making
lasting memories there with our little Sniff Sniff as well.

Sniff Sniff is home in Branson waiting for us.  There all 
our memories made are with him. We're coming home Sniff.

No more walks along the beach for now.  No more Kilwins for a while,
and no more mornings watching the boats go by.  It think I'm nostalgic. Go figure.
  All I wanted to do since coming was to go back home, now that we are I am sad,
but I can't wait to see Sniff and hear his voice.  I love him and miss him.  Happy again.

Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do,

 but how much love we put in that action....
