Thursday August 18th

 A truly happy person is one who can

 enjoy the scenery while on a detour...

All is good just a little ache here and there, but that's what 

happens as one gets older 😐  Aside from that keeping busy, 

especially with all the "chores" Arvid has planned for each day.  

He is the busiest, most hard working man I know.  Retired

 or not, he NEVER slows down.  Arvid always finds things

 to do, and I try to find ways to not have him "make" 

me work with him all day long running "errands"

Just like yesterday today will also be a wet day, though 
cooler it still gets warm up.  Completely looking like winter

 even.  Yesterday Arvid said to me, "you know I was not really

 looking to go back to Florida, but now I am a little more." The 

 weather changes.  Arvid gets "scared" of the cold approaching.

Sniff, the birdies and I are enjoying the cooler temperatures. 

 Well Sniff prefers warmth because as soon as the laundry 

is out of the dryer he finds himself tangled up in them.

  Snoozing as usual.  Sniff does not need a reason to snooze 💚,

 but fresh laundry is something he just can't resist.

On a different note, summer break is over, and our two

 eldest granddaughters a back to school and happy as can be.  

We love and miss them.  Hope to see them soon 🙏

We are all products of our experiences, good and bad.

 Sometimes you learn as much from the negative

 experiences as you do from the positive...

Thursday March 3rd ~

 Things change.  Stuff happens.  Life goes on...

Another day in the lives of Arvid, Nadiya and Sniff. 

 Busy, but with something to look forward to each day.  

Be it something good or something not so good.  Life as 

we know it is not exactly always following the "plan" 

or course we had in mind.  That goes for everyone.

As far as Sniff is concerned, he gets his way and he's 

always in his happy place.  As long as we are there

 Sniff is a happy boy.  He is my happy place.

Already Thursday.  This week has flown by.  Soon 

it's weekend time again.  Weather is still great.

To all a good day.  Be kind to yourself and to each other.

Sunday February 27th ~

 Home is the starting place of love, hope 

and dreams.” “The magic thing about home

 is that it feels good to leave, and it feels even

 better to come back.” Home is where 

love resides, memories are created...

Sunday was a little like Saturday, at least as far as 

soccer games go.  Arvid of course says it's so much better 

watching the games at home.  No matter what, no matter 

where, and no matter who, I will also agree, home is 

the best place to be.  Always good to see family, and 

friends, but it's always better when you're home.

 Yesterday it was challenging to fill the bird feeders. 

Everywhere is slick and icy.  Though I managed to

 fill them I also managed to slip and fall a couple of 🐦

 times. One of the neighbors saw we going out and 

said she would keep an eye on me just in case I fell.

 When I did fall she just happened to be looking the other

 way.  That was good. To get to the bottom of the yard,

 I usually sit and slide down the snow/ice.  I’m just happy

 I have not be poked with anything sharp on my butt 😀.

Arvid and I had a little outing yesterday evening.

  Back to “normal” again. We had a few deliciousness 

to sample.  We were happy as can be.  

Sniff is as relaxed as always. Just happy everyone

 is around and that he’s getting even more attention 😍

Happy day to all. The sun has started to melt the 

snow, this means I will be able to go walking 

again without fear of falling. Life is good 😀

Happiness is an attitude of mind,

 born of the simple determination to be

 happy under all outward circumstances...

February 14th ~

 Being happy never goes out of of style..

Sharon must have felt the heaviness in my 

heart because when I woke up the first thing

 I saw were several videos of my PR kitties.   

What a beautiful way to start my week.  I saw

 Marbles, MacGyver, Milo, ShyGirl and Baby.

  The doggie is Charley.  He is Sharon’s. 

 No one has seen Rocco 😢, Mama 😢, 

Rascal 😢 nor Senior 😢 I wonder all the time. 

 Rascal and Mama were seen, but that was a 

long time ago. I hope they are OK.

 Where Sharon walks she mainly sees

 the others.  Rocco should be there also, why isn’t he?
A brand new week begins and I feel good because

 I got a glimpse of how happy my kitties are.

  MacGyver and Charley have become best buddies.

 Adorable seeing the videos of them.  MacGyver 

worships Charley. Love. Love them all.

All good at home. Sniff and I have gotten 

into a really good routine.  I like it.

Happy new week.  Happy Valentine's day everyone 

and my it be a very productive one for all of us.

Time spent happy is never wasted...
