You cannot escape the responsibility
of tomorrow by evading it today...
One of the things I do not like after a trip is the
all the laundry accumulated. Aside from the laundry
Arvid and I accumulated, there is Sniff’s laundry.
Since we’ve been away for a few days, I had a lot
of towels (mostly all Sniff’s) and linens.
On the day we got back home I did two loads
of laundry. Of course I also folded it all. Arvid does
not do much when it comes to laundry except
to ask, “when are "we" doing laundry next?”
Yesterday I was lucky and only had one load
to do. Sniff has several beds and they all have at
least one towel. Just his laundry makes for 2 loads.
So many things I would rather do than laundry.
I am feeling better every day. My knee is still
taking too long as far as I’m concerned.
Arvid does not like eating out much so for
him getting back home and having home cooked
meals is always best. Personally I also prefer home
cooked meals, but right now standing for too long is
also not good for my knee. Can't wait to be better.
Once I’m done cooking and cleaning I’m so tired.
Arvid is a great help with dishes. Even lunch dishes.
He does not do pots and pans, does not clean the stove,
and does not put any leftovers away. That I do. When I
ask him to his reply is always, it has to cool down first.
Then it never gets done, but he sure is better than our
dishwasher. Very thorough, and always smiling
while doing his chores. He's a happy person.
Sniff is stuck to us like glue and we love it.
He never leaves our sight and when he does
not see us he starts crying. He's such a baby.
A good day to all. So happy to be home.
Home is where all attempts to escape cease...
