Summer In CHICAGO!

"My first day in Chicago, September 4, 1983. I set foot in this city, and just walking down the street, it was like roots, like the motherland. I knew I belonged here" Oprah Winfrey

Our home for the next 4+ months!
Arvid, Brutus and I are just very happy to be going home to Chicago..we love the city and we are looking forward to a wonderful summer in Chicago...this is going to be a great summer!

We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have....

until next time...

Chicago

I give you Chicago. It is not London and Harvard. It is not Paris and buttermilk. It is American in every chitling and sparerib. It is alive from snout to tail...

It's almost that time of the year again....yeah! Very soon we will be going to Chicago and all I can say is that I can't wait.  We have been looking forward to this for such a long time and FINALLY the time is near.

Arvid, I and Brutus have a very good life if I may say so.  We enjoy our times together ALWAYS and always have a good time together no matter what we do or where we go.
life in Eleuthera, Bahamas

CHEERS to Chicago!

We are fortunate to live in Florida during the winters.  This you can't beat and in the summers we call Chicago home. As someone once said and I now repeat...I adore Chicago. It is the pulse of America.  I have lived in NYC, California and New Jersey among others and I will have to say that today my favorite city is Chicago.  The people are friendly, the food is good the music is excellent...it is everything we love....unfortunately we won't live there all year long because their winters are HARSH!   In between these two places we also call Eleuthera, Bahamas home.

Life in Chicago is just one exteded vacation....can't wait for it to begin!

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.....

until next time...
