Wednesday February 18th~

I think me being your sister is

 enough of a gift. You're welcome...

 It's a beautiful day for our family.  Today is 

Rima's birthday. She's my baby sister and one of the

 most positive persons I know.  She makes us laugh

 all the time.  Arvid said to me, "it would be okay if

 she visited when Vidar was here because she's so

 easy going."  Unfortunately that will not happen.

Our eagles are thriving.  Last year they had a 

horrible season with both of their babies dying due to 

the bird flu.  Though only one egg survived, it is still 

better than none.  Take for instance Big Bear Eagles. 

 They lost both their unhatched eggs to a raven attack.

Another very beautiful day yesterday.  As I fed 

Legacy I strolled around a bit while Arvid watched 

the game.  Everyone seemed to be thinking the same 

thing, "what a beautiful day to be outdoors."

Sniff and I are up early as always.  

Yes he was waiting for food by his mat.

A new day begins.  Wishing it to be a good one for

 all of us. Remember there is always something 

good in each day.  We just have to look for it; 

sometimes a little harder than other times.

When the sun came up… I couldn’t tell

Sunday January 11th~

 A winner is a dreamer who never gives up...

Yesterday Arvid and I went over to mom and dad's.  

This time there was not much to do, so we just chatted and

 came up with some plans for the coming week.  As always 

mom had a lot of food to give to me.  Not complaining.

Yesterday was a beautiful day. Arvid and I 

decided to have our Sunday outing on Saturday. 

 Good choice because we had the best time. 

We went to one of my favorite places.  I like it

 because not only is the view great, but they carry

 the whole snapper (fish) my favorite fish.  As always it

 was delicious and I have leftovers for two days.

After lunch we walked around a little.  Always a 

boat that catches Arvid's fancy.  Then he tells me we need 

to get a boat, and I say no because I remember the time 

we had boats.  So much work.  We would use it.  Have 

a great outing, but spent more hours cleaning it than 

using it.  Even so, the idea always intrigues me.

I enjoyed the sunset and what a sunset it was. 

While Arvid enjoyed his drink, I enjoyed taking 

pictures.  Both very happy with the outcome.

The Westin and the restaurants around there is  one of 

our favorite spots.  Me for the fish, and we both love

 the view.  Especially at sunset. Just stunning.

I was awake very early again.  Had time with Sniff 

who started to "bef" for food at 5am.  I resisted and did not 

give in until 6am.  Arvid is more rigid in this than I am.

Today we plan on taking it a bit slower. Arvid 

was a little tired after yesterday. Looking forward 

to hopefully having pizza for lunch. A good 

morning/day to all.  Hope it's a good one.

Saturday April 13th~

Not the day only, but all things have their morning...

 Another early morning walk.  Today was beautiful.  

Once again I was able to enjoy the quietness of the morning 

and the glow of the sunrise among the clouds.  I love it.

Arvid and I have been a little busy and we like it 

that way.  Life is never boring.  After I told my mom 

what we had planned to do yesterday she said, "you guys

 have to be admired."  If you don't try you will never know 

how far you can go and what you can get accomplished.

We are very excited because it seems that Legacy Marina 

which was completely destroyed by Hurricane Ian is in the

 process of being rebuilt.  At least there is a demolition

 crew working there.  Fingers crossed that it happens.

Wishing everyone a happy day and a good start of the

 weekend.  We woke up to a little cooler temperature.  Love it.

Your mind is a powerful thing. When you fill it

 with positive thoughts, your life will start to change...
