Lazy Sunday At Home ~

Small changes eventually add up to huge results.

The happiest people don't have the best of everything, 

they just make the best of everything...

No matter where we go, heading back home is always

 the best. We have had a very good time in Kentucky.  Arvid 

was doing what he loves to do and I had a few days to do a 

few of the things I also enjoy.  We were both happy

In my case it was going to a few malls.  What made it even

 better was that I had a purpose in mind.  I am on the hunt for

 a dress for Michelle's wedding this summer in Norway,
and also had to hunt for clothes for the Kentucky Derby.
 We both had to spiff up our attire.

Who would have thought that when you actually need to buy 

something, you want to buy something, that it would be this difficult.  

Needless to say the hunt for that special occasion
dress for Michelle's wedding continues.

We have been gone for almost the entire work week from 

Almost Home.  Never would I have thought this possible, but with 

Chris and Tiffany, we are completely at ease and are able to relax when we

 take off.  Since they have been with us, 

we have taken off quite a bit.

Little by little we are back to doing what we did before 

owning the hotels. We have managed to get our lives back on

 track, a little at a time, but a very good start.  Could not have

 been possible had it not been for Chris and Tiffany.

That being said it's good to be home again. 
Sniff is always waiting,  and I am
 always wanting to see him and pick
 him up and cover him with kisses,
(he still is  not too crazy about it).

To all a very good day.  Nothing like a lazy relaxing Sunday at home.

Chilly Start Of The Week...

The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change 

his future by merely changing his attitude (I'm trying)...

New week.  New beginnings and a chance to make it better than the last.  Always something 

I strive for just like everyone else I'm sure.  Last week had it's very good days and for

 that I am grateful.  Was happy to be able to spend a few days with my sister, and 

her husband.  The best part is that we will be seeing them soon again. 

Come March we are going to North Carolina to visit my parents.  Nina and David will also 

be there.  I am grateful for that.  Grateful that Arvid thought it was a good idea for us to be

 going then and of course happy that we are.  Anytime I see family is a good time.

Waking up to an VERY cold morning.  Today my friend Liliana will be coming over for

 lunch.  I always enjoy her company and it's been a while since we last gt together.  She's 

busy,  I'm busy, but happily we both have the time today.  As always making quite

 a few things for her.  All left overs will be hers. Every one's happy.

Yesterday Arvid and I tried out a new place for our Sunday outing.  We went to Margaritaville

in Hollywood.  It's a favorite spot of ours when in Las Vegas so we thought it would

 be a good place to go to since sitting outdoors was not an option for us.  Too cold.

Woke up early this morning trying to cuddle with Shadow to keep him and I warm, but
he still does not like being held.  Brutus of course was the opposite.  He loved snuggling
 up to Arvid and I all the time, but even more so on a cold day like today.  I miss him so much.

Today calls for Arvid's specialty.  Hot chocolate on a cold day.
They do say that hot chocolate is like a hug from the inside.

 but not a second goes by that I don't think of you.  Mama misses her Brutus.

 tortuous as the heart. Bitter. Sweet. Alive...
