As the new week begins, it is once again
cold again. A few more days of it and then
back to “normal” Florida temperatures. So far,
January has been pretty cold 🥶 Too cold.
Yesterday we went to lunch with mom and dad.
They treated us to a good meal at Nervous Nellie’s
on Fort Myers Beach. We had plans to sit outside, but the
day turned out to be cold and windy without much notice.
Indoors was just as good and best of all it was warm.

Afterwards we drove them around the beach
and showed them what Hurricane Ian did and how
progress is slowly coming along. My mom loved
all the colors. Says it reminds of of Key West
and the islands. Does the same for us.
Afterwards we drove home. Arvid was our tour guide.
We went in one car. Mom and dad left and Arvid and I
walked over to feed Legacy, she was not there. It was
too windy for her to be out there. The wind was
howling. Glad she has a safe place to go to.
Today it’s cold. Nothing much planned for the
week as of right now. We will go over to mom and
dads one day this week, but it all depends on what
happens. Yesterday's sunset did not disappoint.

Sniff has been sleeping most of the day yesterday
on his bed by the TV. I keep the towels on it nice
and warm by putting them in the dryer. He
hardly used his heating bed yesterday.
