So Happy ~

You can't live a perfect day without
doing something for someone who
will never be able to repay you...

Someone went back to sleep and now does not
want to get out of his bed.  Sniff is just like
his dada.  He loves his beauty sleep.

I wish everyone a day filled with all things good.
I am happy because for the next few days I get to enjoy
being with my family.  Rima we miss you very much.
Hopefully, if all goes well we see you in March.

Every single day is a good day no matter how bright
or dark it is, because it always brings an opportunity
to start a positive beginning in your life...

Hello Sunday ~ FunDay ~

When life gives you someone very special,
you don't have to dream anymore...

Soccer is back in full swing.  This means Arvid has to
plan his  agenda in between the games.  Everything is well
planned out and thought out.  That's Arvid, always organized,
definitely making sure nothing messes with his games.

His Sunday calls are scheduled so that they coincide
when there is a break.  Breakfast is scheduled in the
other break, and then it's a rush to make sure all
is ready just minutes before the break starts.

Sniff and I just watch him and stay amazed.  The man
is one of a kind and not always in the best of ways.
His actions are at times pretty erratic and we just
step aside to make sure we don't get trampled.

Yesterday was a pretty sunny and warm day.
We made the most of it by going out and having a
few of our favorites.  lt is was the best of times.  Little
things.  It's what makes this life so interesting.

Arvid's soccer break is over.  During his next break
we have breakfast.  Sundays so "special"

It's all the little moments that make life a big adventure...

Stay True To Yourself ~

You really don't need to wear any make-up most of
the time; keep your eyebrows the way they are,
and find your own natural beauty signature...

Rima's birthday was yesterday. This is her.  Never looked
any better, and definitely looks better than most women half
her age.  Check out the makeup.  That's right.  NONE.

She does not need it.  Her skin is flawless and she does not
have to pile it on like so many of us.  She is what I call a NATURAL
beauty.  Have to say the same goes for all my sisters.  We have
been lucky.  Our mom is gorgeous and our dad handsome.

Being natural is incredibly empowering for women
because it's just who you are.  You're embracing all the
beautiful things about you from your head to your toes.

Because when you mask so much of your natural beauty,
people don't get to see that.  Less make-up is better, and it's always
better to let your natural beauty shine.  It speaks volumes.

Already got my workout in for the morning.  I like to do it early.
Once the day begins, I never know what will happen and
how things will pan out.  Our schedule changes in seconds.
We have to be very flexible and adapt, which thank goodness
we both are.  We have to.  No other options there.

To all a great day.  One day closer to seeing my parents.

At the end of the day, life is about being happy being
who you are.  Being happy never goes out of style...

Fresh Week ~

Bad weather always looks worse through a window...

Yesterday evening as we were watching a movie
on TV, the broadcast was suddenly interrupted.
 Headlines read: TORNADO WARNING.

Arvid and I who never really take much serious,
jumped out of our chairs.  Without having to
tell each other what to do we just did.

I put a sheet on the floor, and Arvid went out in
the rain onto the balcony and handed me the little
bits of furniture we had.  Furniture secured.

Arvid was swearing because he was wet. We made a
plan as to what to do should we get hit by the tornado.
We got the candles out and of course decided that we
would grab Sniff and head into the bathroom, in
worst case scenario.  Always hoping for the best.

I texted our nephew J.  Told him to stay put and do
not go outside.  As soon as all of that was done I
logged into the weather channel and this is what it said:

TORNADO WARNING CANCELLED.  Of course
we were happy, but this was probably the first

time we took one of these warnings seriously.

Monday morning.  Rain and more rain is expected.
The next two days will also be "cold" as far as
Floridian standards go.  Today for sure we do
not have any plans to go out and run around.

January is soon over.  Not sure what happened,
but time sure flies. With lots to do this week, I hope that
I feel a little better.  Yesterday I thought I was doing much
better but by afternoon I was nauseous all over again.  Also
feel tired as if I was run over by a truck.  A big truck.

I know better days are coming, but I am
so tired of not feeling good.  At the same time
I know it's just a passing thing.

Wishing everyone a good week ahead.  Let's
remember that even though we may  have bad
weather right now, but the sun shines in the hearts
of the people and that keeps us all warm.

Wake up every Monday knowing that you can create
something amazing this week.  What you tell yourself
everyday will either lift you up or tear you down...
