Monday May 8th New Week ~

All journeys have secret destinations 

of which the traveler is unaware...

 New week.  New gal and a new way to approach
 all life throws at you.  At least that's how I will look at it.

  Does it always work out this way?  Usually not.

A little rain in the forecast, but otherwise it 

is going to be a pretty warm week ahead.

Any day at The Landing is always a good day.  Happy 

new week to all and may you accomplish as many goals 

as you set out to, and if not just keep moving forward.

The journey of what you once were and what you are now 

becoming is where the dance of life really takes place...

It's Time To Leave ~

 The purpose of our lives is to be happy...

As I have done since we have been in Puerto Rico,

 I woke up early and by 6AM was out and fed the kitties

 one last time.  Bittersweet is all  can say. 

We leave today, now it's time to focus on going home 

to Florida and to reality. I don't want to cry, but I am.  I am

 actually very sad. But life happens and we have to keep 

moving. We had great times here and will have more.

Sometimes you will never know the value

of a moment until it becomes a memory...

Saturday May 16th ~ Roadtrip ❓

Stop worrying about the potholes

 in the road and enjoy the journey...

On the road again if only for a longer than usual 

drive.  We decided to check out a few places within

 a short driving distance from us.  Happy day

Who knows maybe when all of this is over it 

will become our new place to weekend.  Both Arvid 

and I do not want to spend that much time in an 

airplane anymore, looks like Puerto Rico will 

soon not be part of our lives, for now at least.

We do know that there are times when we have 

to travel in order to see family.  Both Arvid's and

mine. Norway, California and Vermont. 

When we do fun stuff we plan to drive mostly if possible.

  At least that's our way of thinking right now.  This of 

course will also change I am sure as life begins 

to get back to "normal" everywhere 🚗

For now a simple drive makes us excited and very happy. 

 We are definitely living the high life and absolutely 

loving every moment of it, why not, life is good

 and it's up to us to make our own happiness.

Always end the day with a positive thought. 
 No matter how hard things were, tomorrows 
a fresh opportunity to make it better...

January 2nd 2020 ~

You don't always need a plan. 

 Sometimes you just need to breathe, 

trust, let go and see what happens...

It's so very nice to have my parent so close by.  

In about 7 minutes we are by their place.  Today Arvid 

and I took them to the swap Shop.  Like me they 

love the tropical fruit and all the vegetables we

can't find at the regular grocery stores.

We all love coconuts and whenever any of my family 

visit us in Fort Lauderdale the Swap Shop is a must.

  A few of my sisters will be coming to visit soon and 

one of their wishes is "let's go get some coconuts."

Soccer is still going strong and you know who is glued

 to the TV set. Today Sniff not watching with Arvid.

Day 2 of 2020.  Happy Happy.  So far it has been good,

 and with the right attitude it will keep getting better. 

All Arvid can think of is Puerto Rico.  He's got 

it in his brain.  All day long.  Love it.

Happy day to all and let's make this a great year 

for all of us. Chase the vision, not the money,

 the money will end up following you.

Cheers to a new year and another 

chance for us to get it right...
