Wednesday August 11th ~

Happiness comes from contentment...

Not a day goes by that Brutus is not in my thoughts.

Feeling good because I have now caught 12 cats.  They

 have all had the sterilization surgery.  Fewer babies will be 

in our are 🙏 one can always hope.  Still have a few more

 to trap, and who know how many more will show up.

These are the 14 cats I feed every morning. 

 Out of these 14, 12 have had their surgeries.  

Just missing Milo and Mama.  Hopefully soon.

Yesterday was a very dark and stormy looking day. 

 We did not go walking because of the rain coming from 

the tropical depression.  Some boats still ventured out.

Sniff was mostly staying put between Arvid and I.  He's not 

worried about no tropical depression because he knows we

 are here, and I will always protect him from everything that 

could possible harm him.  Sniff is after all our little boysie.

A happy day to all.  May you always find 

the good in everything and also in each new day.

July 8th ~ Another Good Day To Be Happy

 Peace of mind comes when we find

 comfort in solitude instead of loneliness...

Arvid's missing home.  Not unusual 😄

 I told him he only had 17 days left, and he said 

"nope only 14.  I can count."  But at the same time, 

he gets to spend quality time with everyone 😄.

Sniff is having some skin irritations and a hair loss. 

 It's been going on now for over two weeks.  His little

 tail is not looking so good.  In worse case, I will be 

taking him to the vet later today.  It didn't look

 so goo yesterday.  Today a tiny bit better.

Today my day is pretty open.  A lot depends on what's 

going on with Sniff.  Have a few errands to take care of,

 but otherwise not much planned.  I really need a day to

 just do absolutely NADA 😂  Today seems like it.

People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither 

does bathing. That’s why we recommend it daily...

Holiday Season ~Monday November 16th

There's something about a Holiday that isn't 

all about how much money you spend 🎄...

 It's a new week with new expectations and who

 knows what to expect.  That is how life is today during 

these Coronavirus times.  Expect the unexpected. 

 Even so, some things will not change.  That is the,

 celebrations may be held differently, but you can 

still feel the vibe of the people all around you. 

 Puerto Ricans are happy people. 

 They make the most of what they have and they

 really enjoy life.  Take for instance Kimsy, our niece. 

 What made her the happiest right now was to

 decorate a Christmas tree with her mom.

  Because of Coronavirus they get to spend Christmas 

together, and luckily so do Arvid and I.  We get to 

spend it with them, unless something happens and 

the governor orders a lockdown.  Hopefully not. 

 I remember Christmas in Puerto Rico when I was

 a child.  The happiest Christmases ever.  I look forward

 to seeing some of the festivities with Arvid.  

Monday again.  Time is flying.  Soon it is Thanksgiving 

and we also get to spend it with my sister, J and 

Kimsy. Life is good and I am very grateful.  

As the new week begins, I wish everyone 

happy days and better ones to come.  Yesterday was not

 a good day for the USA as far as number of cases of

 COVID.  Hopefully this week will be better.

Florida, Missouri, California, Illinois just to name a few

 added over 10,000 Covid cases yesterday.  NO Bueno at all.

One small positive thought in the morning can 

change your whole day.  New week, bring it on...

It's That Friday Feeling ~

 Friday sees more smiles than

 any other day of the workweek...

Why do we look forward always to Friday this much?  

Whatever the reason, it's Friday and it seems as if everything

 is more relaxed.  For us it really does not matter what day it is. 

We work from home so any day is our Friday, but since today 

is the real Friday I know we will be doing something good.

Sniff is happy with his foodies.  Now he is stocked for

 a couple of weeks.  When Sniff is happy we are happy. 

 Today I plan on buying him a new scratch pad.  Kinda like a 

mini condo scratch pad.  he has one at home in Florida and

one in Chicago.  Now he needs one in Puerto Rico.

Right now the skies are blue and the sun is shining. 

 Earlier this morning we had a bout of heavy rain. 

 Fortunately it just lasted for a few minutes.

Friday is sure looking good.  Maybe a good day to

 celebrate something.  Arvid and I never need a reason to 

celebrate, but when you have one it's even better.  Happy

 Friday all, and may the weekend be a fabulous one.

The easiest way to make the most of your Friday

 is putting your best foot forward the second

 you roll out of bed in the morning.

Every Friday I like to high five myself for getting

 through another week on little more than caffeine,

 willpower, and inappropriate humor...
