Monday September 25th~

You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it...

 The new week begins and there is a lot of things going 

through my mind.  I am excited to soon be going home with 

Sniff.  I am not looking forward to the plane trip because Sniff 

howls from the start to the end of the flight.  Non-stop.

I aa happy but at the same time I am a little sad.  Every time

 we leave Branson I leave a part of my heart.  For me the hardest

 thing to do right now is leaving my wildlife.  Although I am attached 

to Almost Home, I know good people are now caring for it.

Arvid and I have a busy week.  I have already said my 

goodbyes to a few of the people at Almost Home, and that was sad.  

Thank goodness that no matter where I am I am always reachable.

We have made many friends here in Branson and 

no matter where we go, I hope we maintain the friendship.  

Yesterday we had our last Sunday at The Landing.

  For this time.  It was a beautiful day.

Animals are so smart.  Sniff can sense a change is coming

 and he's being super cautious.  Love him so much.

I believe that the only courage anybody ever

 needs is the courage to follow your own dreams...

Wednesday April 27th ~

 Mindset is what separates the best from the rest...

Arvid enjoys getting rid of stuff no matter 

where he is.  He loves it.  Calls it spring cleaning, 

and has gotten everyone doing the same 😂.

When not dumping stuff away, he enjoys quiet time

 with  Sniff and I and of course with the TV.

Then it's back to work.  Always looking to see what 

we can get rid of.  He never tops.  Constantly on the

 move and on the prowl.  You see Arvid, and you 

know he will be doing some sort of cleaning up.

I worry when he starts to wander into my closet at home.  

He always says I have too much "stuff" and it's time to give some

 away 🙊  I really don't have anything to give away right now.

Wishing everyone a good day.  Keeping busy is what

 we do best.  Sometimes I wish we knew how to slow down.

What would it be like to only have activities in your

 life that ‘sparked joy?’ … it’s a goal to keep 

in mind as you evaluate your schedule...

Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day is the rest we take between two deep breaths...

Another long week has come to an end.  February has been a great month so far and it is looking better every day.  We are busy during the week and in the weekends we relax and have a good time on our own or with friends.  Either way we look forward to it and to just relaxing and really not doing that much.

The weather here in Florida is beautiful. One of the best February's we have had in a long time. Very happy for that. We have had some very cold days, but it always warms up. This weekend all we plan to do is to relax, sit maybe by the pool and get some sun. I don't normally sit in the sun, but the cool air makes it perfect to be out for a while.

So far it seems like it will be a great weekend.  Thank you very much to my special friend who made our Friday special.  Makes me really miss living near the water.  Hope we can do it again soon...

It is our choices, Friends, that show what we really are, far more than our abilities...

You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough....
