Weekend mode activated—chaos, coffee, and chill...

The highlight for yesterday were the several
drives we took. Unplanned and just very relaxing.
Beautiful weather made for a pleasant time.
Yesterday Arvid and I were supposed to go and check
out something new. I wanted to go to Dogwood Canyon.
Was looking h forward to it for a whole week, but then
when I read more about it I realized that it would
be a little too much for my knees to handle.
Definitely looks like a beautiful place. If you
have the opportunity to go just do it. Our next
door neighbor was the one who got me wanting
to go. Imagine being able to see Bisons up close.
The way she described it would get anyone
interested. This is the kind of place our niece
Reshma, Torin and Apollo would love. Nature at
its best. We passed it on our way back home from
Eureka Springs and the busses just kept going in filled
with people. Hopefully next summer we can go.
Since it was Thursday I did not cook. Instead
we opted for chicken wings and fries. Simple but
always so good. Thankfully we both like them.
Come afternoon Arvid decided we should go
driving around again I’m always game, but I said
that once the drive was done we head to Andy’s
Frozen Custard. Arvid said, “sounds good to me.”
Andy’s never ever disappoints and best we get
to just sit, watch people come and go and see the
Branson Ferris Wheel. As I have said before, one of my
favorite sites. After all, it did come from Chicago.
To all a very good day. Friday-the day is
wide open for anything, just ask PiP our neighbors
kitty. He's already giving me the stinky eye.
