Friday May 29th~

Turn up the volume, close your eyes,

 and let the music take over your soul...

 Yesterday was a quiet but good day. I did have 

quite a bit going on but it was not rushed, so you 

can say it was relaxing. Arvid and I enjoyed a few

 things together made for an even better time.

Today once again Arvid and I will be heading out to 

Eureka Springs, Arkansans.  This time for a Blues Festival. 

Unfortunately it seems like we will be having a lot of 

rain all day long.  We booked the hotel last time we

 were there, never thinking that it would be raining.

We tried to get a room at the New Orleans Hotel

 in Eureka Springs, but everything was already booked, 

but we ended up with a room at on of the sister hotels. 

Arvid and I are prepared for all contingencies. 

 It is definitely going to rain, so we bought passes 

in advance to make sure we have covered  seating.

  Sure don't want to get soaked listening to music.

Once again Sniff is home alone.  The wildlife

 will definitely keep him busy and tired.  A good

 day to all.  Relax, ease back in your seats and 

let the music take you wherever it does 🎸

Sunday April 14th~ (Late Post)

Some people have lives; some people have music.

   Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, 

flight to the imagination, and life to everything...

I was supposed to post this on Sunday April 14th.  

Got caught up with stuff and just noticed it.

  Here it goes, a little late but still accurate.

 The annual Tampa Bay Blues Festival returns to 

Vinoy Park on the waterfront for three days, and Arvid

 and I will be right there.  We won't be doing all 3 days 

because it's way too hot to be in the sun all day long.  

Years ago we would go for all three days.  We would

 come back home all crisp and sunburnt.  Especially Arvid. 

 He's just too white after all.  No matter how much protection 

we had against the sun, it was just too hot for so many days.

All of that being said, both Arvid and I are looking forward 

very much to the festival today.  It will be hot most of the day,

 but at night it sure gets cold.  We get a taste of it all, and best of 

all there is the music and the beautiful surroundings around us.

  It's a universal language that anyone can understand. 

It has the power to change lives. It's not a requirement to

 be able to play an instrument to appreciate it. Music 

is the ultimate gift, both to give and receive...

🥁 Saturday March 4th~

I keep myself busy with little things to do, 

but every time I pause I still think of you...

If all goes well, we will be in Sarasota today. 

 The music calls and we must go.  That is unless something 

impromptu happens that requires us to stay put.  It has

 happened more often than I would like 😂

Sniff as usual is having the best time napping.  He wakes up, 

cries, gets brushing, gets foodies, naps, goes to the balcony,

 naps.  Yeah you get the idea.  Life of a cat.  Life of Sniff.

The pictures below are from FMB (Fort Myers Beach) taken 

about two days ago and not by me.  I think they are beautiful and

 had to share it.  It is a beautiful place and they will rebuild.

The say that the best view comes after the hardest climb.  This is 

definitely a hard climb, and I am sure the comeback will be even

 better #SWFL🌴Strong.  We each survive in our own way.

I woke up very early and my thoughts took me places I rather

 it didn't.  I try not to stay there too long, but it didn't work 

so well today.  It's going to be a long day, I will be okay.
