Tuesday February 6th~

Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. 

Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving 

is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice

 you make makes you. Choose very wisely...

 The other day Arvid and I took everyone out for lunch.  

Pizza is what they wanted.  Truth be told, our nephew 

Max basically eats pizza, so whenever we go out with 

him and Kelsey pizza it is. Arvid also loves pizza.

As we were chatting Max asked my mom and dad

 if they were ready to go home.  Without hesitation they both 

gave a firm YES.  Max said, "wow that was a fast reply."  

Mom and dad have been here a little over five weeks 

soon.  As they say, "it's time to go home."

Yesterday started out gloomy and rain. Little

 on the colder side but as the day progressed 

it became sunny, warmer less gloomy.

As we were Facetiming with Michelle, our youngest 

grand-daughter Amelia heard me coughing.  She paused 

and she said' bestemor/grandma is coughing"  All in 

Norwegian of course, but what made my heart soar is 

the fact that she called me bestemor on her own.

Looking forward to spending a little time with mom and 

dad today.  Today is going to be a better day than yesterday.  

No rain.  We needed the rain, now we have had enough.

It's time again for walks in the warm sunshine😎

They say a person needs just three things to 

be truly happy in this world: someone to love,

 something to do, and something to hope for...

Sunday September 17th~

Now it's the little moments that stop me in

 my tracks, because that's what life is all about...

 Arvid and I enjoy every moment we can at Branson Landing. 

 Yesterday evening we were pleasantly surprised when we got there.

  There was a band playing, so we we spent a few hours listening 

to the music and enjoying the beautiful scenery and weather.

Soccer break is over so Arvid has a lot on his schedule right now.

  Between the games, Almost Home and The View it's busy.

Sniff and I have been awake since 3am.  Another one of those 

long days for me.  Sniff is already napping so he will be just fine.

Pretty soon my wildlife will be showing up. 

 Still dark outside.  Together with Sniff, my wildlife it 

the best part of my mornings.  Arvid sleeps in 😂

A happy day to all.  Always be yourself. 

 Everyone else as they say is taken.

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead 

where there is no path and leave a trail...

Wednesday ~

Life is about moments.
Don't wait for them, create them...

And so begins our day.  Coffee, sunrise and Sniff.

Perfect start of what will be a great day.

Sniff is most comfy wherever we are.  

Right now the breakfast table is his spot.

I have cleaned just about every spot I think Sniff
can get to, but sometimes he will surprise me and find a
 spot I didn't think of.  Keeps me busy.  Now Arvid and
 I will have some time to enjoy Puerto Rico.

The island is very picturesque, even the electrical wires
 all over it's landscape cannot take away the beauty it holds.

Below the locals hanging out by the beach, with their
 masks playing dominoes.  Life is simple and that gives
 us the most happiness, and always makes us grateful.

All roads lead us to the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean.

No matter what is obstructing the landscape, the beauty is always there.

To all a great day.  Arvid, Sniff and I are having us some island time.

Loving Life...

Friendship is born at that moment when one man says to another: 

"What! You too? I thought that no one but myself...

Yesterday morning found me having breakfast with Liliana.  As usual we had a very good time.

Both of us were able to do some venting off, and to catch up on what's going on in each

 other's life.  Though we live so close to each other, we are both very busy and

 are not always able to get together that often, so when we do we 

really make the most of it.  As always we had a great time.

The afternoon found Arvid enjoying a Friday outing with "the guys"  As he always
tells me, just come in with us.  They would all enjoy talking to you, but the truth
is this is a guys thing and I am more than happy to spend a few hours
on my own.  I don't mind go with them and picking them up, but
so far I have tried to not go into these gatherings with them.

I am making the most of my Blackhawks tee-shirt.  Wearing it as much as possible
in the next few days.  Of course that means lots of hand washing, but worth it.

Today no plans as of yet.  Yesterday we had plans of going out to listen to music, but
like I always say with us plans are made in the spur of the moment and in the spur
 or a moment they are also unmade.  Even so we enjoyed the company of
good friends.  Was definitely a good evening all together.

Good morning everyone.  Once again we had plans and once again they have
suddenly been put on hold.  Life is good.  We are happy and that's what matters.
The other night we saw the movie Spy.  Was pretty funny.  Love going to the movies.

Remember, happiness, not in another place but this place,
not for another hour, but this hour.  Happy Saturday Amigos.

If there's one thing I learned, it's that nobody is here forever.
 You have to live for the moment, each and every day . . . the here, the now...
