Very Relaxing Sunday ~

I have learned over the years that when one’s

 mind is made up, this diminishes fear...

Yesterday we decided to try a new place for lunch.

  After a little search I found a place serving chicken wings. 

 Those who know me, know that I will choose chicken

 over steak, lobster or any other so called "delicacy"  I'm 

a chicken girl.  Unfortunately for me, I am now getting a 

little tired of it, but it still is my first choice at mealtime.

We had the BBQ chicken wings.  Arvid loved it. 

 I was not too crazy about it.  For me it was over 

drenched with BBQ sauce.  What I enjoyed best

 was the spinach and artichoke dip.  Was delicious.

After lunch yesterday we did what we do best in the city.
 We walked and walked.  Somehow we ended up
 in a little pub where I had the best Cosmo ever. 

Can't wait to go back.  Chicago has increased my
appetite for adult drinks.  Not sure that's so good.

The Air and Water Show is still on.  Sniff is a
little better than yesterday.  He runs to us for
comfort and stays really close.  Even Arvid said,
"I think we have bonded a lot these last two days."

Wishing everyone a peaceful day filled with all things good. 
No one can truly understand the bond we form with the
 animals we love until they experience the loss of one.

Arvid, one of the most loving, caring and 
compassionate human beings I know.  A lot of 
these qualities he developed even more thanks to
 Brutus.  Now Sniff is recipient to it as well.

Cherish your yesterdays, dream your
 tomorrows and live your todays. Life has 
no limitations except the ones you make...

A Day In The Life Of Sniff ~

The best therapist has fur and four legs...

Most of the day is spent napping.  He has a lot

 of different beds around the apartment.

Sometimes his favorite napping spot happens to be me.

When the sun hits his condo, you will find Sniff there.  Ready for

 another nap or maybe just to relax and watch the boats pass by.

Here again.  Just hanging out with me.  On me.

Though Sniff does not like being picked up he loves to be hugged, 

but for short periods of time.  I do it as often as I can.

Everyday I pick Sniff up.  I count how long it is
 before he starts to squirm wanting to get away.  So far
 he has managed to stay put for 20 seconds.

If restrain him I can manage to hold him for another 15
 seconds.  I know one day it will be better because I will not give
 up.  I love him too much to not be able to hold him for longer.

Wishing everyone a good day.  If your life is stressful, there
is nothing better than having a little kitty or doggie to make it better.
Whenever we are having a not so good day, Sniff is always
 there to remind us to slow down and to breathe.

Dogs and Cats are God's way of apologizing for 
your relatives.  Love is a four legged word...

Sunday Funday Vibes ~

Some old-fashioned things like fresh

 air and sunshine are hard to beat...

I love these "colder" mornings.  Nothing beats fresh air.

  No AC and the doors slightly open.  Makes for a perfect 

hourin the mornings.  Of course then it's back to AC

 and hotter temperatures.  For now just loving it 

and hope it lasts for a little while longer.

Even Sniff is enjoying some of this "cold" air we 

are having.  Sniff is happy, so I am happy as well.  

I can't ever stop saying what a good kitty he is.

It's a perfect boat day here again.  Just saw a pretty 

different looking boat.  Of course a picture was necessary. 

 Not sure why I take so many pictures.  It then becomes a 

chore to delete.  But as Arvid would say, "you love it."

Sunday.  Lots of soccer games on today.  Both of us happy. 

 Arvid get to be "busy" and I get to have time to do some stuff

 on my own.  Life is sure good.  Happy Sunday all.

I am happy because I'm grateful. I choose to be

 grateful  That gratitude allows me to be happy...
