Friday December 23rd ~

 Start each day with a positive thought and a grateful heart...

And so soon begins another day of radiation.  

Now I am looking forward to it being done with.

After today it's just five more treatments to go.

As of right now the temperature has not begun to drop. 

 Arvid still plans to be in shorts most of the day.  After that...

well if we get out that would be something else.

Looking forward to these few days "off"  I am getting 

tired easily and the burning is increasing.  Makes 

for a little crabbier me, and that is not so nice.

To all a good day.  It's the most wonderful time 

of the year 🎄May your cup overflow with peace,

 love, and pure awesomeness today and everyday.

Monday ~ Start Of The New Week

Happiness can be found even in the darkest of 

times if one only remembers to turn on the light...

A trip to the mall.  I was very surprised at what I did not see.

 There is no one around.  I counted the

 amount of people without any great effort.

Many of the stores are now gone.  The Gap,

 a store I have been going to since I can remember

 is no longer in business at The Galleria Mall. 

 Another COVID casualty?  Very sad times.

I was at the mall in the weekend.  During what is 

supposed to be a "busy" time.  Didn't look busy at all. 

 It actually looked sad to see it so empty.

The most people were by The Apple Store, and it

 was nothing compared to what it used to be.  I really 

wanted to buy something, and I truly looked, but there 

was absolutely nothing I liked.  But on a good not, I 

ended up with a very good caramel frappuccino.

A new week is onto us again.  
Thirteen days since I last fed my feral kitties.

We did it last week.  We can again do it again

 this week, even better.  Let's be awesome together. 

 Let today be the start of something amazing...

Friday July 3rd ~

People wait all week for Friday, all 

year for summer, all life for happiness...

This year it is definitely going to be a different 

July 4th celebration.  Not only here in Florida, but in

 just about the entire USA.  Thank you again

 COVID.  Yet another good time ruined.

Usually we are in Chicago for July Fourth.  We have 

been fortunate to see the fireworks from our balcony.  

This year not so sure if this will happen or not.

 Fireworks can still be viewed as of now in Fort Lauderdale

 from far.  We sure won't be making any extra trips to 

any place to see them.  What I will miss is going out for

 our little celebration drink.  Yeah missing those 

Pina Coladas, and yes I can make my own.

Today we went to the Swap Shop.  As always

 I stocked up on lot of my favorite fruit.

It's going to be a quiet weekend here for us.  No parties.

  No fireworks, no outings.  Thank you COVID.

Here is to a beautiful, hot day.  One thing 

that never fails to stun me, our amazing sunset.

Let's go out into the scorching heat wave to avoid

 frostbite from our office/home air conditioning...

Friday June 19th ~

Some people want it to happen, some wish 

it would happen, others make it happen...

I have been awake since 2 am.  Not sure why, 

but it's been a while now that I have woken up this early. 

 Lately I have been managing to sleep in until 7 am.  Very 

happy for that.  Today is just an aberration that's all.

Sniff has been brushed, ate some dry food and is 

back to bed.  Nothing interferes with Sniff and

 Arvid's sleep.  They sleep just like babies 😴

The rain continues here.  At this moment it is not

 raining, but it's expected to rain most of the day.  At 

least that's what the weather man said.  Lately they 

have been spot on with the weather.  Summertime

 in Florida.  Here comes the rain again and again.

Our days begins with dark clouds, which I think

 is very pretty.  After that the rain comes and then comes

 a beautiful sunset, and after that the rain again ☔

Fridays.  Used to be an outing by the water a few 

tropical drinks, something to nibble on, and just relax and

 watch people and the boats pass by.  Due to an increase 

of COVID-19, cases this will not be happening for us.  We

 are back to strict staying at home again.  This is crazy.

All the plans we had for today no longer are.  

No weekend to Naples as we had planned.  Bummer, 

but maybe for the best.  Arvid did find a beautiful place and

 we were looking forward to it it very much.  Another time

 it will be.  No Naples, No North Carolina, no NOrway.  

Is this anyway to live??  Does not seem right to me.

Good morning everyone.  And 2020 continues to amaze us.

What a year this week has been.  Again and again.

The only way to do our best work 

right now, is to work well together...
