Happy Times...

The real things haven't changed. It is still best to be honest and truthful;
to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures;
and have courage when things go wrong...

One of my favorite things to do during the holiday season is to drive along the beach
and just be enthralled by all the lights and the feeling of Christmas and celebration.
On our drive along Fort Lauderdale Beach I was just happy with all the lights.
The beach was for some reason extremely quiet, but that did not stop us
from having a good time.

This year’s beach lighting featured the illumination of 50,000 lights along with
a larger-than-life sailboat display.  The iconic one-of-a-kind sailboat display
 measures 30-feet wide, 22 feet high, and 20 feet deep. It features three sailboats
 gliding through a series of scalloped waves made of 16-inch wide ornamental aluminum.

Pretty soon the Christmas decorations and the lights will be packed away
until next year, but in the meantime I will definitely be enjoying them.

For now having a good time with company.  Many things to do and lots to see.
Hopefully, everyone so far is having a good 2014.  The year is
still very young so do the right thing and steer it and make it a year to remember.

If you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams
 and you will always look lovely...
