Enjoy Your Day...

Live every day as if it were your last and then some day you'll be right..

The Blues Festival is coming to an end today and I have to say we have had quite a good time so far.  Day one was extremely hot, but day two we figured out how to stay cool by taking our own lawn chairs and positioning ourselves only in shaded spots.  This worked great and I enjoyed myself immensely

Like with everything else, whenever there is that many people in one place one is bound to see a little of everything.
One of the things that really amuses us is seeing girls wear heels at the park when you have to do that much walking.  Always someone who is more concerned about looks rather than being practical.  I know a few girls like this that no matter the blisters, the pain heels are always on.  You have to look good.  Forget everything else.  Arvid and I always have a good laugh when we see this.  So silly I think.

In Chicago it's mainly backpacks and sneakers most of the times.  Very relaxed and casual.
We sat next to this adorable little girl who could not get enough of the music.  She kept leaning forward all the time to get a better look at the performers while at the same time enjoying her Doritos.  We were quite entertained by her.  Cute as a button and super friendly.

As usual there were so many giveaways.  No matter where you walked someone was giving you something.  I collected close to 12 Sensodyne toothpaste, travel size.  Even got Arvid, under protest to put his hand out for a few.  Usually Arvid does anything for me.  We also had tons of Sierra Mist to hydrate ourselves in between.  There is a stand and they were handing it out like crazy.  We both enjoyed it quite a bit.

Tonight is our last night and that's OK.  Arvid has some shows he wants to see on TV so we may leave a little earlier than usual.  All good with me since Brutus is not doing too well so we are glad to get home to him early.  Has been a great time so far and the summer has just begun.

Have a great day everyone.

Enjoy everything that happens in your life, but never make your happiness or success dependent on an attachment to any person, place or thing..
