Vacations...

No man needs a vacation so much as the person who has just had one...

We all look forward to our vacations and I am no exception.  We expect to relax, have good times and to just do absolutely nothing.  This is all so true.  We are here in Norway, and I for one am looking forward to having a good time...

The thing about vacations is that I rarely like to stay in one place.  I like to be constantly on the move.  Luckily for me Arvid also feels the same, although I think I like to be more on the move than he does. Haha!

When we are on vacation I want to see everything there is to see and I do not like to just sit around all the time.  Yes, this sounds exhausting and trust me sometimes even I have to admit it is, but it is also so much fun!!  It's OK to see family in moderation, and also good to explore.

A vacation is like love - anticipated with pleasure, experienced with discomfort and remembered with nostalgia...and have you noticed that the best part of the vacation is the day you are on your way back home.  Strange how we build up for our vacations yet look forward to going back home. As someone said " A vacation trip is one-third pleasure, fondly remembered, and two thirds aggravation, entirely forgotten"  Have a good vacation to all of you heading that way!  Time to enjoy ours:)

Holidays are enticing only for the first week or so.  After that, it is no longer such a novelty to rise late and have little to do....
