Countdown To Norway...

Wherever you go, whatever the weather always bring your own sunshine...

It is s difficult to know what to pack when we go to Norway.  As of now the next few
days are looking to be a bit on the chilly side.  As soon as you are out of the
sunlight the temperature drops!  It gets really cold, but it is what it is.

Every year I take a few dresses and skirts, but have never really used them.  We head
out early in the mornings when it's a little cool and return back in the late afternoon or early
evening when it is definitely cooler.  Easiest thing to wear are jeans.  That is all I
am packing this year.  A few pairs of jeans and tops.  We only visit family so there
is not really any need to get all dolled up, best is to be comfortable and warm.

As you can see from the weather the next few days, jeans will be best.
Norway's weather like Chicago's can be very unpredictable.

I'm already missing little Sniffer.  Yesterday he was not feeling so good.  Seems like
during the night he was chewing away on my flip flops, of course he had fits of puking.
Scared me, but all Arvid was concerned about was, "why does he have to do it on the rug?"

I asked Arvid, "you have had little kids, what did you do when the were "bad?"
As I said to him a pet, just like a child has moments that are not always "perfect"  Does
this mean when they "misbehave" you get rid of them?  Left him with something
to think about.  At least I hope he is.  Sniff is such a good boy, but sometimes even
he has not good moments.  Just like everyone else.  Does not make them bad.

Three more nights until we get to Norway.  Then on the next 18 days it will be cafe time
in Norway.  It feels very strange to be going and not having to make special arrangements
for Brutus' care.  That's good, but of course it means my Brutus is no longer with us.

Sniff is healthy.  I will miss him.  I will also worry about him, but nothing
like I did for Brutus.  How I miss him no one will ever understand.

It's a very HOT day here in Chicago.  Have already been out to do a few errands.
Have also done laundry.  Now to finish up with lunch and some more errands for us.
Happy Tuesday everyone and may all things good come your way today and everyday.

It has been said that time heals all wounds.  I do not agree.
The wounds remains. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them
with scar tissue, and the pain lessens, but it's never gone...
