Making Progress:)

The great thing in the world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving.....

 It's been almost a month since we left Chicago...somehow it seems like ages.  Though I really miss Chicago have not had much time to dwell on it because we have been so busy.

Since purchasing our house we have been working non-stop for the last 2 weeks.  Long long hours but it is finally taking shape....progress is being made:)

Tonight will be our first night in our home and also it was our first dinner at home.  Felt very good to sit and enjoy our first meal....sushi and shrimp cocktail:) pretty good. 

Things are still a bit disorganized here at the house but, at least the bedroom looks really nice and all ready to be used. 

We have already found a spot for the Jukebox and one of my favorite items is my new bench Arvid bought me:)

Most of the renovations are done...now we have to put everything in its place and we will be ready to go.  Another week and we will be set.

For the last 3 days Brutus has been staying with my friend Liliana.....at our former place.  He was really very excited to see Liliana and to run around her place. 

Liliana did tell me though that Brutus misses us and cries every night.  This made us a little sad so we are working as fast as possible to get the house Brutus safe.....comes tomorrow we are bringing him home.  We are both excited to see his reaction to his "new" home.....Now it's time to finally relax, watch some TV and get ready for another long day tomorrow.....
