Thursday September 4th~

It's not about the destination,
it's about the journey...

Arvid and I are soon on the road again.  Just being on
a little road trip makes us happy.  For us the best trips
are just a little weekend getaway to break up the routine of
regular life, and if the getaway includes a little music,
good food and good company, so much better.

The destination is not that important, what matters is the
journey and the memories we make along the way.

Good day to all.  Just remember no matter where
you go, or what you do, do it with joy.  Make
those memories that will last a lifetime.

I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list....

Wednesday September 3rd~

Don't listen to what they say. Go see....

I have been getting this urge lately to see more of the USA.
My niece Reshma and Torin live a life where every free time they
have they explore another part of this beautiful country we live in.
Apollo their fur baby is always with them.  Well most times.

Of all my nieces and nephews, Reshma is the one
with the travel itch.  As she told her mom and I when
we visited them, "right now we live to travel and to see
as much as we can"  Reshma is very good at planning
and mapping out their little vacations/getaways.

From a very little girl I knew Reshma was
different, and this I say in the very best of ways.

Here at home I still keep an eye out for Oliver.
Hoping I will not see him.  Because if I do, that means he
was again abandoned.  Honestly Dave and I believe that
he has a good home now.  Charley is always on the hunt
for either birds or squirrels.  She's a happy girl as well.

Morning is here and we are ready to face the new day.

It's important to appreciate these moments and
make the most of them, as they can pass by quickly...

Tuesday September 2nd~

Rainbows are made of small raindrops.
Happy lives are made from acts of kindness...

Arvid and I enjoyed a very nice outing on
Sunday.  We had beautiful weather, made
for a good time to be dining outdoors .

We first went to The Landing, our favorite
spot but on Sunday it was PACKED! there was
no parking spots available and the lines to get
into the restaurants went on forever.  It didn't
stop everyone from having a great time.

Changed our plans, but it was also
a good change.  As we ate we saw the
Blue Angels fly over us a few times.

Our week ahead is looking good.  A few
things going on so always happy about that, but
from the looks of Sniff, he's not ready to face the
day as yet.  The little birdies sure wear him out.

Arvid had a little outing with Roger while I
did some grocery shopping. A little rain in
the morning was also very much needed.

Charley showed up for food but the little
rascal tried a little then took off to chase birds
instead. Charley is for sure an expert hunter.

It's another very good start of our day.  Wishing you
all the same.  Rainbows sure make me happy.

If you want the rainbow,
you gotta put up with the rain

September 1st~ New Month Begins🍂

September the golden threshold
between summer and winter...

 There's something undeniably enchanting about
September—the way the world starts to slow down, the
air turns crisp, and the landscape transforms into a vibrant
tapestry of reds, oranges, and yellows. It's the month
that ushers in cozy sweaters, warm mugs of tea,
and the irresistible pull of all things autumn.

Summer is coming to an end.  September days have
the warmth of summer in their briefer hours, but in their
lengthening evenings a prophetic breath of autumn.

Wishing everyone a good September.  Please
be kind to us all. Ah, September! You are the 🍂
doorway to the season that awakens my soul.

Labor day weekend draws to an end.  Branson had
a very exciting and profitable one culminating with a
grand performance of the U.S. Blue Angels.  Arvid and I
heard them from our condo when they were practicing.

There comes a day each September
when you wake up and know the summer
is over and fall has arrived...
