The Windy City, the City of Big Shoulders,
the Second City. Chicago. Perhaps the most
typically American place in America...
While here in Chicago we plan to revisit a
few of our favorite places. Both Arvid and I like
House of Blues and Buddy Guys Legends.
Have to see which one we will go to.
Don’t mind if we did both, but probably will see
who has the better music of the two. Both places have
delicious food and drinks and they both have their “right”
ambiance. Whichever we choose will be a good choice.
We also always try to go to Smith and Wollensky. I
remember the first time I went to Smith and Wollensky was
when I lived in NYC. I was impressed. I was very young
and had hardly experienced the much of world as yet. A
former boss of mine from Puerto Rico took me there.
Chicago has something for everyone. I love zoo’s,
but no time on this trip to go. We’ve been there a
couple of times, one being with Danielle. We had
a great time. I love their Shell Aquarium.
Another must is Navy Pier and the Ferris wheel.
Just little things but they sure make me happy.
We have been very fortunate to live in so many
beautiful places. Life was good then, life is good now.
To all a very good day. Make those lasting memories.
I miss everything about Chicago
except January and February...
