Life is a great big canvas, and you
should throw all the paint on it you can...
Yesterday we got an “emergency” call from
mom and dad. Nothing happened. It was just
the smoke detector beeping away. Because it’s so
high we preferred to go there and change the
batteries ourselves. A good start of our day.
Can’t have my dad falling down. While
we were there we switched out all the batteries for
them. My dad bought a bunch of 9 Volt batteries
so there were even leftovers. There is no one
as generous as my dad. He tried to give them
to us, but we told him no thank you.
He will need it sooner or later.
I made lunch at home. We did some work
and I caught up on some reading. Arvid
enjoyed a little bit of a soccer game.
In the late afternoon we decided we needed to
get out a little. Of course we went downtown. Of
course I stopped by to feed Legacy. She eventually
showed up. At first she pretended I was not there but
then hunger took over, and she came to the foodies.
Our outing took us to Ford's Garage. Perfect
spot for people watching, good food and good
drinks. As always we had a good time.
Once back home it was a relaxing evening
watching TV. Wishing everyone a good day
and a happy weekend. Make it count.
